• It was a very convenient location, easy to get in and out.
• You could hear people on the second floor - I believe they were acrobats!

“The Super 8 in Carter Lake,IA was convenient, clean and comfortable. We were quite satisfied that our money was well spent. Our only negative was some fairly persistent noise above us, and since we didn't complain to the front desk, we can't hold them responsible.”

• Clean, great shuttle service, friendly staff, breakfast provided, walking park nearby.
• No elevator, vending machines did not work.

“Good place to stay for air travelers but bring evening snacks and remember that there is no elevator, so bring an extra bag for the stay.”

• Convenient to airport.
• Staff bickering amongst themselves; not very friendly.

“For my purposes, the hotel stay was fine. However, when I arrived, my room key wouldn't open the door, and I had to be switched to a different room. No big deal, but the two staff on duty were bickering by letting me know how inadequate the other was. Also, when I pulled up to check in, the staff were outside the front doors of the smoke-free hotel having a smoke. Not a good first impression.”

• Close to the airport.
• AC leaked, carpet was wet, no sheets/blankets for pull out sofa, no elevator.

“We were looking for a place close to the airport. Our room was ok but very humid. The air conditioner leaked and the carpet was wet, dripped all night. It was in a area of not getting much for convenient food. We were on the 2nd floor with no elevator and had to haul our bags up the stairs. We had a suite for the pull out bed and when I asked if there were any clean sheets, pillows and blankets I was told none, they are being washed for tomorrow but there should be a blanket in the drawer. I looked and it was not even something I would use for a pet let alone my child. We had to use the bedspread and they slept on top of the couch. I would not stay here again. It was expensive.”

• Better continental breakfast area. Was not much room.

“Very friendly and clean. I would stay there again. This is the second time I stayed there for the purpose of going on this trip.”

• It's seems to be an older hotel. Could use some renovation.

• Very clean nice location.
• Noise and disturbances.

“We experienced whores and hookers knocking on our door (by mistake?) Pimp in the lobby! People in the next room partying till 4 am, kids running up and down the halls till 11 pm very noisy. All in all a very nice motel but not our kind of clientele.”

• close to airport.
• Still trash in the room. Staff not so friendly. No places to eat close by.

“For $80.00 we could have got more. That was the only hotel we could find in the web that was close to the airport. When we get there we found there are a lot in the area.”
