• Comfortable bed and clean linens.
• It had a terrible smell that lingered the whole trip.

“This was a nice hotel especially for the price. Omaha is a great city and it was fun.”

• The beds were great!
• Tub would not drain, room was worn.

“Nice hotel. But, not a great hotel to stay with younger kids. We tried to upgrade our room at check in and were not allowed. Felt a little like we were lower class. The room looked updated, but it was worn. Ceiling tiles were dingy, air conditioner did not work well, tub was slow to drain. The bathroom had nice fixtures.”

• The comfort and efficient staff.
• I wish I had been forewarned that the hotel was in the middle of a remodel.

“I definitely would stay here again. The staff was excellent. I was concerned about the ongoing construction but overall it was as intrusive as I thought it may have been upon arrival.”

• Renovation mess and guest services - no valet parking.

“Parking is not real convenient. Hotel Lobby is being renovated. There was no hot water at midnight. They do offer a shuttle service and it's conveniently located.”

• It was beautiful and very classy.
• There was construction going on and very noisy.

“Also the parking garage located next to the hotel was an additional daily charge of $7.00. I think the parking should come with hotel fee. Very impressive hotel however, and must be the most comfortable bed I have ever been in.”

• Good location, clean and secure.
• Construction with makeshift bar.. not 2 1/2 star accommodation in current state.

“Hotel check in clerk was rude during checkin. Made for an initial bad impression. Construction disarray made it difficult to enjoy the surroundings. This has been a very nice hotel in the past and is certain to return to it's former status.”

• I loved the comfort of the beds, the fine toiletries, and the attentive housekeeping staff.
• The room card demagnetized quickly. Could hear noise from upstairs.

“Hotel checks in was great. Greeted with a cookie was nice. When called from airport to say I would be late; staff was very informative and welcoming. Front desk was always helpful. Rooms were beautiful. Housekeeping was always coming, however a little early; but they were present. Beds were very comfortable, and the toiletries were actually a brand that you recognize. The coffee and teas in the room were a good selection. The restaurant, pool and work out facility were great! I recommend not staying during a state wrestling and volleyball tournament. Too many teenagers around for my taste. Overall, it was a great stay and a great place.”

• Under construction - did not say that. Also, had to pay for internet.

“I was really disappointed that the lobby was under construction - I had planned to work in that space. Also, the internet implied that internet was free, but it was not an additional $10/day. Staff were aloof.”

• The cookies and bed were amazing.
• Wasn't too sure how well the room was cleaned. The glasses looked like they were just rinsed out.

“I had a great time! From the chocolate chip cookies at check in to the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Even the pool was a lot of fun! I loved the view of Downtown Omaha!”

• Great location, Downtown Omaha.
• Lobby under construction, no place to park to check in.

“Great location being right Downtown. A big problem was no parking to check in unless you park in the garage and walks all the way to the lobby. Way too cold to be doing this!”

• The staff made the stay fantastic!
• It needed updating in the rooms & pool area.

“The Doubletree is in the process of renovating which is greatly needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the staff at the Omaha Doubletree was fantastic, from the front desk to the waitress in the dining room.”

• The shuttle and helpfulness of the staff.
• There was an altercation in the pub that wasn't handled by security in a timely manner. It made for an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere.

“The hotel was nice, clean and luxurious. My stay there was comfortable. My only complaint was the lack of responsiveness by security to an altercation that took place in the pub restaurant.”

• I love the comfort of the bed, pillows and the sweet dreams pillow on the bed!
• The hotel wasnt clean the way it should have been, especially since I had a reserved room.

“The hotel carpets need to be vacuumed and cleaned and even though its a smoking room, there should be some type of air freshener in the rooms. So the price I paid for my room and parking I could have stayed at the Hilton Downtown Omaha for the same price and way better quality of a room. Even for smoking room!”
