  • Location and friendly staff.
  • Badly in need of repairs and updates, continental breakfast was not very appetizing and ran out of coffee.

“Friendly staff and room appeared clean but had a smell.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff plus a decent continental breakfast.
  • The hotel is older and it shows. Things appear dingy from age, even though they are clean.

“It has everything we needed, but not many frills. It is and older hotel that hasn't done much to upgrade over time. But, the rooms were comfy and clean which is all I needed for our 1 night stay. The continental breakfast was average, but the Texas shaped waffle irons were a bright spot. My son enjoyed the older looking pool, but the Texas-shaped hot tub they boast about didn't work. The staff was very helpful and attentive to the needs of my small children. They let us check in early so my baby could nap and provided a brand new pack and play for her to sleep in.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[6] • Location:[9]

  • Good location.
  • It was filthy. It had roaches, and nets.

“The room was filthy. The room key continually malfunctioned. The desk clerks were helpful and the dining room staff was very nice.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Location.
  • Not much variety for continental breakfast.

“General appearance was satisfactory. Construction on access road. Friendly staff. Clean room. Bugs and leaky pipes in bathroom. Constant spray of water on feet and legs while using sink. Skimpy selection for breakfast. Cold cereal, bagels, waffles, fruit, coffee, juice, milk. Overall, ok.”

  • Location.
  • Had our pricing wrong at check-in, missing light bulbs, had to wait for towels, no coffee.

“It was ok.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • Very clean, good location. Grounds were very well kept.
  • One desk clerk must have been new, and did not know about check-in process.

“We enjoyed out brief stay.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[2]

  • Nothing.
  • Given a smoking room with double beds after requesting a non smoking room with queen beds.

“This was a very disappointing & unsatisfactory stay. I spent days searching for the perfect hotel in college station that had queen beds & most definitely requested a non smoking room. However when we arrived we were given a smoking room with double beds! When you have people with you who are highly allergic to smoke, this is a bit of a problem! Upon contacting the front desk we were told there was nothing they could do. They were booked up all weekend. They said we should not have used your web site, but that we should have called them ourselves, that only they could guarantee our request. I find it absurd that one can book on January 15th 9 1/2 months in advance and not be guaranteed the room they request. Thank you very much for your time.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • Convenience and great pool for kids and adults.
  • Hot tub didn't work.

“Great for the location and price - loved the Texas shaped hot tub.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[8] • Location:[10]

  • Location to Texas A&M was very convenient.
  • It was generally run down and not kept very clean.

“Falls well short of our expectations for a Ramada hotel with respect to cleanliness, repairs, and general appointments. It's in a fantastic location for those with business at Texas A&M but guests must put up with mold in the bathtubs, shabby, threadbare carpets, and general disrepair. For a Ramada, we'd expected a little nicer.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[1] • Location:[5]

  • Nothing.
  • Almost everything.

“The hotel was being painted (touched-up) at the time we stayed there. The smell of the paint and paint thinner made the whole family light headed. Requesting help from the staff was useless; however, we did receive a lot of free attitude (at no extra charge). I asked the desk clerk to explain the bill and she said it is all worked out with the computer and would not explain the charges. (As she tapped her fingers with disgust and rolled her eyes at us, she told the person on the phone to hold on until she finished dealing with us).”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[10]

  • Friendly staff.
  • The first overhead light switch in the entryway of the room did not work.

“The hotel lobby was filled with young teenagers when we arrived due to a volleyball tournament, making reaching the front desk difficult. The hallways were also filled with young teenagers and their families, chatting. We were concerned that the room would be noisy because of this and it wasn't. ”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[3] • Location:[7]

  • Nothing.
  • Half the lights were burnt.

“When I got there in the late afternoon, my room wasn't ready. They made me wait even though the staff said there were other rooms available. The room was made for dwarfs. All of the counters were about knee high and this is not an exaggeration. I took a chance in staying somewhere different and got burned for it. Oh well, live and learn.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[8]

  • The beds were comfortable and everything in the room worked.
  • The parking situation could be better.

“The staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived late and only had a very small problem with check in because of the lateness of our arrival (4:00 AM). We got everything straightened out and were in our room very quickly.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • Friendly and helpful staff-clean rooms.
  • Seems to be a towel allocation.

“WE enjoyed our stay at this Ramada Inn -IT was convenient to the college and restaurants. I was worried that the rating was only 2.5 and My wife and I have stayed at other supposedly 4 & 5 ratings that we did not feel as pleased as with the Ramada Inn at College Station.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[9] • Location:[10]

  • Convenient location.
  • Needs to be updated and cleaner. Seemed dirty.

“We booked the hotel for the am football game. It was the only hotel available and because of that way overpriced. The walls and carpet were dirty and the air conditioning was really loud. It was our only option so we dealt with it.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[4] • Location:[5]

  • Location is convenient to campus.
  • Staff unresponsive to requests (linens, etc) unless repeatedly asked.

“Clean facility in decent condition. Friendly staff. Poor follow-through on requests for linens, roll away bed, etc. Pricey for what you get compared to other hotels in the area.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • Quiet, clean and well kept.
  • One of the elevators was scary very unstable.

“The room was clean and very neat well supplied with personal items in the bathroom. As an older hotel most of them have a musty odor. This one smelled good not perfumery just clean. As I am allergic to chemical smells this was very refreshing. Pool was well kept, water clear.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • The rooms were spacious. They came with a table and refrigerator There was access to the internet in the hotel.
  • There was mold on the shower curtain.

“The hotel is close to Texas A & M which was nice for my purpose. The rooms were good for a family. They were spacious. Since you have the refrigerator and microwave, you could cut down on the other costs of your trip.”
