• Easy access, close to restuants and shopping areas.,
• There wasn't anything not to like.

“Had a really nice overnight stay while attending my son's high school soccer tournament. The room was very clean and quiet and the restuant next door was quaint with friendly staff.”

• They kicked us out of the pool at 9pm on a Friday night (not being loud).

“Some rooms have flower comforters, others had nice quality ones. The pull out couch was awful! Could feel every spring!”

• The hotel cleaning staff was more than excellent!
• Our rental service left a set of forks at the front counter of the hotel. The hotel lost the forks. The restruant staff had picked them up.

“This Hotel it very friendly and clean. It is great place for a family vacation. We were having a wedding in Brenham. The manager were out of her way to make sure everything was excellent.”

• Great place but would like a fitness center!

“The hotel is clean, comfortable and close to the charming town of Brenham. We have stayed there four times now and always enjoy the visit. The microwave and mini fridge is a nice touch. The beds are comfortable and the pool is well kept.”

• Amenities in the lobby area and the room service (we did not use but a good feature).
• Smoky room, when we checked in the hotel clerk was unfriendly and were under staffed.

• The pool was nice.
• The stained towels and cobwebs all over the ceiling.

“The hotel was great for the price. The pool was clean and the kids had a fun time. The lobby was welcoming and the front desk clerk was very nice. The only big issue I had was the cobwebs all over the ceiling. It was a smoking room, we don't smoke, and the room had a dingy kind of feel. The towels seemed like they were dingy and the walls were yellow.”

• Rooms were very quiet and conducive to two very tired people being able to sleep well.
• The cleaning staff was knocking on the door at 9 am to see if we would be staying over and toilet that wouldn't flush.

“Great place to stay when visiting family nearby and exceeded expectations. It was clean, quiet and had a very friendly staff. The pool was refreshing and clean. Even though it was right outside our room and very popular with the guest, we didn't hear a sound! We would stay here again when visiting if needed.”

• Convenient location, front desk very helpful.
• Pool seemed poorly planned and landscaped.

“A good simple hotel that fits Best Western's standards well. Helpful staff, clean rooms, convenient location right on Hwy 290.Would repeat stay if in the area.”

• The front desk was very helpful.
• Noise from highway. Not set up with workspace for business.

“The room (handicap one, again), had a very small table and no plug-in outlets for laptop and printer and table was in front of air conditioner. Extreme noise from nearby highway came through the door because door had been repaired and wasn't seating correctly. No breakfast had to go to restaurant next door and was told to order "special for hotel guests", which costs $5.99. Will not stay here again.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• I was miserable and could not sleep due to the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke.

“It's great if you can get the type of room you prefer. But if you are a nonsmoker and get stuck in a smoking room, the stench is overpowering and you will be miserable. Make sure you are able to book a nonsmoking room at any cost.”

• Hotel room was as expected for price paid. Nothing fancy by any means, but certainly did the job.
• Front desk personnel not very friendly & had little advice/recommendations for the area. Stay would have been better if hot tub were working.

“Hotel adequately met our needs on a recent little family weekend get-a-way. Was satisfied with room for the amount paid. When checking in, I would request a room on the backside of the hotel, away from the feeder road noise and traffic. The restaurant next door had pretty good breakfast with friendly service. Front desk personnel not very friendly and had little advice as to dining establishments and things to do in the area. Hot tub was not working during our stay, which broke my 2 year old daughter's heart. The use of the hot tub would have greatly enhanced our stay. Overall, this was a decent place for the price paid. Of course, in small towns like Brenham, there aren't too many options to pick from!”

“I have stayed at this hotel many times. I enjoy the fast friendly service, the peace and quiet and the location just outside of Brenham which keeps me out of traffic and noise.”

“I called in a non-smoking room which they did confirm I was going to get and then when I got there they had 2 reservations for me, and they said that they had sold out of non-smoking and could not fix it.”
