• The pool was warm.
• Rail road track & elevator.

“I will never stay at this hotel again. Besides the fact that the train track were 20 feet away and the train went by many times, the elevator made horrible noises and did not feel safe. The air conditioner put off a nasty smell.”

• Close to my sons' home in Manhattan.
• The first room was not as cool as it should have been. Had to change rooms.

“It was a good place to stay. Not at all like some, the people were courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean and the noise level was good, meaning no one running up & down the halls at night.”

• Good internet.
• We couldn't use the sink because it had a major leak, gave us a smoking room.

• The staff was friendly and professional.
• A railroad track ran directly behind my room and kept me up all night. This was not disclosed until my late arrival at approximately 10 pm.

“The staff was polite and friendly. The facilities were clean, in fair condition, and in good repair. The air conditioning was turned off in the room when we arrived, and as it was a very warm day, it took sometime for the room to cool off enough to be comfortable. When I arrived for late check-in (I called ahead to arrange this) I was presented a form to sign. The form acknowledged that a railroad track ran directly behind the building and caused excessive noise. I had not been advised of this when I requested the room or when I called ahead to verify. Check-in was dependant upon receipt of the form. At that point, it was a little late to try to make different arrangements. I signed the waiver, and had a difficult night sleeping. Check-out was fast and handled efficiently.”

• Soft bed with lots of pillows.
• Train tracks right outside our window.

“Night desk clerk very friendly; day clerk very disinterested found her wandering parking lot watching the storms. Breakfast was lacking nutritional food. Dresser was broken but the beds were heavenly. Train outside of the hotel is a bit loud. They need rooms with 2 beds on none train side of hotel for families.”

• Location was great.
• Staff was unwilling to accommodate non smokers.

“Hotel was in a great location. Staff was friendly and courteous but unwilling to alter the request for smoking room. We are non-smokers. The complementary breakfast had rationed quantities of food. They ran out of orange juice, waffles, yogurt. Staff informed patrons, "We are only allowed to make 3 batches of waffles per day". Bad plan!”

• Bed was uncomfortable. Train was outside our room.

“There was a driving rain storm that froze overnight. The hotel did not put any ice melt on the sidewalk outside the side door. After I went out to my car, I tried to get back in, but they had the door locked. Bed was uncomfortable. Train ran right outside our window. Continental breakfast was awful. Staff was unresponsive and seemed uninterested in doing anything. Would not stay at this hotel ever again.”

• Shower curtain rod looked broken.

• It was being remodeled because of the condition and changing to Quality Inn.

“Should temporarily be rated as a 1 star because of the mess in remodeling.”

• The indoor pool was heated and the cleanest hotel pool I have ever seen.
• The trains were a little annoying, but not bad enough to keep me away.

“The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. The indoor pool was heated and the cleanest I have seen in a motel. The train was a little bothersome, but not enough to keep me from staying there again. The room was good sized and clean.”

• Excellent beds and a sizable bathroom.
• The staff was as nonchalant as they come.

“Slightly better than staying at a Super 8 or Motel 6, the Manhattan Comfort Inn offers a sizable room, excellent bed, and if you ask for it - a two person tub great for a quick getaway from the hassle of traveling by car. Just be sure not to expect the staff to make eye contact with you or take time away from their busy social life to, you know, check you in.”

• NOTHING it was the worst.
• I disliked everything about it.

“We had to wait at the counter for over 20 minutes so she could call someone. The hotel has the worst smell from the minute we walked in. The room was dirty and also had a bad smell to it. Which they tried to cover up with air freshener. I would never stay at this hotel again. Nor would I recommend that some one stay there.”

• The free breakfast was exceptional.
• My room was right beside the railroad track.

“The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. They had free Cox cable and free internet access which was great. The free breakfast was exceptional. The only problem was that my room was right beside the railroad track. While the sound insulation was pretty good (I could hear the trains but not overly loudly) they vibrated the room as they passed.”
