• The location.
• Side entrances weren't working, room fire alarm not working, and handicap room.

“I have stayed at Fairfield Inn's before and been pleased but I was very disappointed with this one in Manhattan, Kansas. There was a weird odor throughout the hotel which affected my asthma. There was only one person at the reservation desk and several people waiting to check in and the phone was ringing constantly. When I got in my room the fire alarm was beeping and it took the front desk person a little while to come to see what the problem was. She had to get up on the chair and as she was trying to stop the beeping, the whole thing fell off the wall. She said someone would come the next day to fix it but that didn't happen. I will be coming back to Manhattan but will not stay at the Fairfield Inn. When I was telling a friend about my experience she said she had had a bad experience there as well and she doesn't stay there when she goes now either.”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• The pool water was cold and it was indoors.

“It was a very quiet place to stay and comfortable. Enjoyed the exercise room also with the headsets and TVs attached to equipment.”
