• The staff was accommodating and location was handy.
• Children running wild till midnight up and down halls and bouncing off walls.

“Our first room smelled like vomit. They tried to remove the smell but were unsuccessful and the first night was horrible. The next night they upgraded us and the room was so much better. There was still a bit too much noise from children whose parents evidently had no regard for others. I did not complain to staff, so do not know how they would have handled the situation.”

• Helpful staff, clean rooms, pleasant stay, nice breakfast.
• Odd entry when coming south on 27th street.

“I generally have no problems with Marriott hotels, and this stay was no exceptions. Friendly, helpful staff; would recommend to other business travelers.”

• The wonderful staff.
• The continental breakfast.

“The staff here was absolutely fabulous! Very friendly, helpful and personable. I did not like the fact that the entire hotel was non-smoking but the pool area was perfect and our overall stay was awesome!”

• I was traveling with a group of nine students and they were treated very well.
• The only thing I didn't like was just outside the lobby door the sidewalk was wet both eve. and morning.

“I was traveling with nine students. They were treated with respect and enjoyed their stay very much. They enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They loved the hot breakfast which had not only the usual but had sausage gravy and biscuits, waffles and hot breakfast sandwiches and fresh fruit.”

• Staff was friendly. I requested a repair and it was done promptly.
• Can't think of a thing.

“I travel frequently to Lincoln, NE. This was my first stay at the Fairfield, and I was very pleased. The staff was friendly, efficient, responsive, and available. The facility was clean and well maintained. I asked if it was new. I will definitely stay there again.”

• It was quiet.
• Changed to smoke free motel.

“I was not happy with the area. It was out of my way. It changed to a smoke free hotel since my last stay there.”

• Free wireless Internet.
• Bath tub did not drain properly. No bar soap or shampoo provided.

“I initially had a hard time finding the hotel as their sign is hardly visible from the main road. The hotel was right next door to a Motel 6, and only slightly more luxurious. Although I had no less than five pillows on the bed, the decor was otherwise pretty Spartan with only one picture on the wall and no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. Perhaps the later was just an oversight on the part of housekeeping. Fortunately I brought my own. More frustrating was a bathtub/shower that would not drain-- perhaps I should have brought my own Drano too-- and clunking noises from the utility room next door. I never did figure out what was causing the noise, but wondered if it had something to with the elevator. It did not make me very happy when it happened just as I was dozing off, but fortunately it did not occur all night long.”

• They forgot soap and shampoo in the bathroom.

• Clean room with lots of pillows & comfortable beds!
• Ran out of plates at breakfast and should have wet towels out to clean breakfast tables.

“Staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Easy to get too and it was a nice clean hotel.
• It was very noisy, my room was next to the back side of storage area. Lots of banging.

“While I didn't take advantage of the pool and spa area it appeared to be very nice. The lobby area was nice and clean and the staff was friendly.”
