• Good location to my daughters college and upscale for the price or star range.
• The water vending machines never work, but they do then compensate me water bottles. I have nothing bad to say about them.

• The location was great, easy access off of the highway.
• The bed was way too soft for me personally.

“The hotel was nice, the food was good and prices were comparable to most restaurants. The cookies were awesome! The bed was way to soft for me and unless you like feather pillows I suggest you bring your own. Other than that the stay was great for the one night. The corner room with the windows had a great view.”

• The room was very clean and the staff very friendly.
• We were very disappointed that a 3 star hotel did not have a pool.

“The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The fitness room was very nice. It was really disappointing when we found out that there was no pool. My 10 year old was crushed. I could not imagine a 3 star hotel without a pool. This was a first.”

• The in room coffee was mild and my son liked the cookies.
• Outside noise interfered with getting a good night's sleep.

“This hotel is located in a very busy, noisy section of Dallas. Being assigned a room on a lower floor meant the outside noise was loud even in the early morning hours. Plus the walls are thin and you can hear phone conversations from the room next to yours. The staff was friendly, the cookies good, and check-out was easy.”

• There was a dirty wash rag behind the bathroom door and there was no shower cap.

• Ice machine was 3 floors down instead of on each floor and no help with luggage.

“Conveniently located and reasonably priced but no ice machine on the floor. Need to consider small refrigerator in room for guests needing to refrigerate medications.”

• We liked the location, looks and room service.
• The air conditioning was not cool enough for sleeping. We've experienced this in the last few hotels where we have stayed.

“Very nice for the price. I would check to see if air control is limited before I stayed again. Very common in hotels these days it seems.”

• The front desk was most responsive as was the room service.
• Being used to a firm bed I found the mattress to be a bit soft.

“It's locality to my family living in NE Dallas was perfect. I hope to stay there again when visiting my families in Dallas. I was there celebrating my elderly sister on her 98th birthday and my stay could not have been more perfect.”

• The staff was only too quick to respond to our one complaint. They even gave us complimentary breakfast.
• One problem with housekeeping.

“Overall the Doubletree Campbell Centre at Dallas was a great stay. The location from the Hotel to restaurants and shops in the Dallas area is excellent. I am happy to recommend with an Arkansas stamp of approval.”

• Room given to us had numerous defects, holes, etc.

“Stop drain in bathroom sink was broken. A/C intake screen in room was hanging off wall. Cracks in walls/ceiling of room. Hotel was undergoing major renovations in the lobby area and it appeared this room was overlooked.”

• Hard beds, road construction made this hotel somewhat difficult to find at first.

• The beds were very comfortable and the cookies were yummy!
• We did not have an ice machine on our floor.

“The hotel was nice. I've stayed at the Radisson up the street and it was much nicer. Our door to the bathroom didnt shut correctly. You had to slam it shut which woke up anyone trying to sleep. Also that there were only ice machines on even floors? I was disappointed that there was not a pool or hot tub. The beds on the other had been very comfortable! I had 2 great nights of sleep. I love the bedding it was so soft!”
