• Spacious rooms, nice kitchen.
• Not much, except had to pay 5.00 for wireless internet for entire stay. Understandable, however, to keep the price down.

“Great hotel for the price. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Location is great and the rooms had a separate bedroom with a TV in living and bedroom.”

• Hotel room at check in was gross. Not clean!

“The bathroom shower curtain was filled with mold. The toilet had hair surrounding it. There was still coffee in the coffee maker. There were partially used plastic bags in the cabinets. The bed was made, but we were afraid to pull back the bedspread. Staff changed our room at 11:00 pm at night.
”

• The location is great.
• It smelled awful and my bathroom was not clean.

“The first thing that hits you when you walk into the Homewood Suites in Plano is the sickening smell of air freshener. It was in the lobby, the eating area, and unfortunately, even my room. I opened the windows but could not get rid of the nauseating smell. The room was worn. What was unacceptable was the state of the bathroom. Hairs in the bath tub - and some unknown brown spot on the base of the toilet. The location was good and the bed was comfortable. Other than that, there was not a lot to recommend this hotel.”

• Building and yard were attractive. I liked the fact that it had a fridge.
• The air condition had been switched off, and it was hot.

“The hotel was attractive, but they had turned off the room air condition, leaving us with a very hot room.”

• The price - that's about it!
• The staff was cursing (F-Bomb to be exact) another patron of the hotel in front of other guests.

“The hotel was ok. If I had been staying longer than one night, I would have been severely disappointed. Small beds, non-existent pillows, and the worst towels I have ever had in a hotel, rude staff, and the list goes on.”

• The rooms are not clean! Have bugs on the floor.

“Staff is nice, but their cleaning policy is by far the worst! They will clean the place once a week and there are bugs on the floor that made me feel very uncomfortable to sleep.”

• Staff was very nice & friendly! Hotel was better than I expected. Near good restaurants & friendly too! This hotel was clean! Love to stay again!
• I have nothing bad to say. I was very satisfied! I would love to stay there again!

“I really liked this place. When I 1st called the hotel for directions, my impression of the staff was that they were very nice, helpful, & friendly! When I got there, the place was better than I thought. Very nice looking & clean, everywhere! The room was very nice, it had everything! I'd like to stay there again!”

• The a/c worked very nicely.
• Some the linens were dirty and the microwave was dirty, the tub was dirty, no daily cleaning.

“The room was roomy. It had a nice a/c, but it seemed dirty. The microwave had bacon in it. The refrigerator had left over milk. Some of the linens had stains on them. The tub was dirty and they only clean the rooms once a week. There was not even coffee in the reception area.”

• Fantastic service, great room, perfect for our needs.
• The back door to the hotel was broken and did not lock.

“The overall experience was fantastic. My only compliant would be the back door lock was broken and was easily accessible to anyone. If they fix this it will be the perfect hotel. We will be back.”

• Dirty room, uncomfortable bed, old and out dated.

“The hotel was in a good location, but was awful on the inside. The first room had the TV was broken and the bathroom was dirty, with hair all over the shower floor. The couch looked as if it had been on fire at one point. The staff was friendly and helpful, they moved us to a different room, although, the smell was not bearable and the bed felt like plywood. My husband and I actually agreed to just cut our losses, and we drove the 2 hour trip back home.”

• This was great, clean, disable people friendly but there is a question, does the hotel have a small continental breakfast? Yes/No.
• Does not have a hotel shuttle. Also, I have another trip in 11-26-07, I need a better location?

“It is a great hotel in many aspects, but there should be more offering to entice a stay. As I mention before, shuttle from airport to hotel (and not a taxi). Also, during the stay I saw the dinning room area, but no sign as to when it is open and what is being offered there. November 26 - December1, I will be staying at another Homestead, but I wish I could get something closer as to my real location.”

• Location was good; room facilities (kitchen, etc) were fine.
• Cigarette smoke smell on 2nd floor was horrible! The bed/pillows were very uncomfortable!

“The hotel was clean in appearance; however the stale cigarette smoke smell on the 2nd floor was so overwhelming! The room itself was fine; it was nice having a kitchen with fridge and utensils. But the bed was very uncomfortable (hard as a rock!) And the pillows were cheap. I couldn't sleep.”

• Close proximity to various attractions/highways - kitchen area.
• No shampoo normal things. Nail clipping in bed.

• Spacious rooms with small kitchen facilities.
• Outside doors did not operate properly with keycard.

“Overall stay was very good. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff was always helpful when questioned or if there were problems with keys. I would stay again while in the area.”
