• The water features.
• The front desk staff was incredibly rude.

• The location and atmosphere.
• Rooms were very nice but a little on the small side. Parking and drinks expensive.

“We were overall impressed with the hotel. I didn't like that we had to pay $18.00 for them to park our car right outside the front door. Drinks were also on the pricey side.”

• It was close to food, shopping and comfortable.
• Security was lacking and the elevator door closed on us several times.

“The rooms were elegant and comfortable. The room was clean. It was easy to use a wheel chair. We had food and shopping all easy to use. I would have appreciated hotel management contacting me when I reported an intruder. I would have felt better knowing they checked out what happened and some sort of explanation of the event.”

• Location and hotel entrance.
• Mold in tile grout in shower, view was okay, concierge did not give good advice on restaurant - sent us to a tourist trap.

“I was a little disappointed in the hotel. The location was good, but the room was small and not as clean as I would expect. The concierge was not that knowledgeable about the local restaurants.”

• Good location, plenty of towels, comfortable bed.
• Overall like everything, I guess the bathroom could be updated.

“Upon arrival, the valet staff was prompt and courteous, the check-in was smooth, the lobby was beautifully decorated and we found the room clean and orderly. Each time we needed the car from valet parking, it was ready within minutes. The room was quiet and the bed linens were nice. We enjoyed our short stay, as we have stayed at this hotel before.”

• Lovely room, comfortable beds, very friendly, helpful staff. Helped with directions and advice on restaurants, shopping.
• No hot tub.

“Our stay was very pleasant. We loved the room and the staff was so helpful when we needed directions to shopping, restaurants. Loved the shuttle to the Galleria. Great location.”

• Good location and attractive public areas.
• Room was not a 4-star quality; bathroom was a disgrace.

“Public areas were open, attractive and inviting. Room was on the small side but comfortable. Bathroom was a flashback to the 80s that made the entire room undesirable. Original bathtub that had been painted was chipped and mildewed - looked like something in an old, dilapidated motel. Amazing that they went to the expense of remodeling this older hotel and skimped on the bathrooms.”
