• Nice friendly service, very nice lobby, was quite and parking was not far or too expensive.
• For a 4 star hotel the rooms did not have the same feel as the outside and lobby area bathroom was old with no fan working for shower so mirror fog.

“The hotel had a very upscale feel when we arrived, lobby was beautiful, but when we got into the room it was a typical 3 star room, old TV, bathroom was old, fan did not work in the 2 rooms, we had, shower was old, towels were old.
I just expect more from 4 star and the way it looked outside and in lobby but it was clean, everyone was friendly, helpful and location was great close to highway mall galleria area. Parking was close and price was 12 dollars. Overall, good stay just don't expect a posh room after seeing all the wow when you pull up.”

• This hotel is showing signs of aging.

“Although this hotel is centrally located, it shows some signs of aging. Everything was very clean, and the staff was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially through Priceline Negotiator!”

• This is a beautiful hotel and is undergoing some renovation which was being carefully managed.
• Temperature control in the room would not cool well, and it is on the opposite of the freeway from the galleria.

“This is a beautiful hotel that is undergoing some renovation at the main entry. Luxurious seating and finishes in the expansive main hall. Room appointments are very nice, but without the ability to control the temperature well during an abnormally warm evening left us with a certain level of dissatisfaction.”

• Very nice hotel with great facilities for groups and meetings.
• Currently under considerable construction in the lobby areas.

“This hotel is comparable to any major hotel supporting group and conference events. Food/service is sound and there will be ample facilities to support all your needs. As a suburban hotel, I was surprised to have to pay for parking and facilities charges (in addition to internet service) as one would expect in downtown locations. However, these fees were not onerous. Generally very satisfied with the facilities, the room and location. Good overall value.”

• Location, price and security.

“This was a pleasant place to stay. The hotel is under renovation. There were many areas roped off due to construction. This did not hinder me or my spouse at all. I understand to keep up with the times and to take care of a property, you have to have renovations from time to time. It is fine to do it this way instead of closing down the facility.”

• Location was good. Easy to get to. Staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms a nice size and comfortable.
• Parking. Either valet or $12 / night parking garage.

“Bathrooms were nice, clean, but needed updating. Visitors had no place to park except $12 in a parking garage or valet for $20.The rooms were a nice size. We liked the lay-out. Everything was squeaky clean. The breakfast was a little pricey, but to be expected. We would definitely stay here again.”

• Location to Galleria and shuttle for the Galleria.

“Overall the hotel was fine. It had a good restaurant and it was very attractive. The staff was very friendly and professional. I was disappointed that my bathroom wasn't clean upon arrival. The tub still had a ring in it from the previous occupant and the paint is chipping in the tub.”

• Very clean.
• Beds and pillows were totally uncomfortable.

“This hotel would be fine for corporate travelers, however the hotel needs to update old used mattresses and pillows. Also, the hostess working the morning weekend shift needs to be more accommodating to the guests and make them feel more welcome.”

• Staff Service is outstanding
• Age, I prefer more modern but it was still a good place

“Staff is excellent. Good location for shopping as the Major shopping venue is near. Only hear overnight, so I don't know about the entertainment. Did not have a chance to even get all over the hotel. Starbucks in the lobby.Can not say enough about staff, customer service is so lacking today that it was just awesome to have someone attend to your needs.”
