  • Location. But that's it.
  • Out-dated, uncomfortable beds, smell in the halls.

“I was very disappointed with this hotel. The beds and robes were so uncomfortable that I didn't rest well at all. This hotel should be de-mooted from four star to 2.5.”

  • The room was spacious, clean and well appointed.
  • The side door area could have been cleaner.

“The hotel is convenient to major highways and the airport. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and well appointed. Restaurants are located within walking distance and the lobby bar was nice.”

  • Great location in Dallas, dramatic lobby with Starbucks located on site.
  • Tiny rooms, no suites, no free wireless, some channels didn't work, club level inactive.

“While the facility may have had its hey day with all the ballrooms and the restaurant, it is no longer anywhere near the level of class I would expect. The patio rooms were the current suites available. Basically 2 tiny rooms with a connecting door. One room had couch and TV unit. Other bed and TV unit. Some cable channels didn't work. Wireless unavailable in the room, internet only available for $10 with Ethernet cable, which I would imagine is annoying for business travelers. We tried some dessert via room service from restaurant, not impressive, rather seemed like store bought in the freezer section. Asked for crib to be put in room prior to arrival, once again at check in and again when we were leaving dinner later that evening and it still didn't get there until well after baby's bed time. We were told over the phone about the club level which we had access too. However it was inactive upon arrival meaning no Hors D'oeuvres or cocktails in evening, no breakfast in the morning, etc. Not even sure why they are still advertising falsely about the club level in the guest book in room.”

  • It offered restaurants of fine quality, the rooms are large, furnishings were up to date, wonderful.
  • My mattress had body indents from use. That didn't look clean.

“It is a wonderful hotel and I would recommend it. I didn't like the mattress visible body indents. It had everything all on site which was wonderful. I didn't have enough towels but they were bought to me promptly. The rooms were spacious, the WiFi offered was great and it was great. I definitely got my value for the money. I would return to this hotel. Please address the mattresses.”

“Room was fine. Central areas are fine. However, one member of my group is blind and is a guide dog user. The check-in person was uneducated about guide dogs, the ADA, and customer service in general.”

  • The room decor was inviting and the desk was HUGE.
  • The tub drain was slow, I'd like to actually be able to talk to the housekeeping staff.

“Other than the non-English speaking house-keeping staff and the slow drain in the tub I had a nice stay. The water in the fridge, $4.50 a bottle? Wow, I'll go get food.”

  • My room had a great view and it was clean.
  • The hotel staff was disorganized and were giving people dirty room.

“The hotel itself was great. The front desk staff kept giving people dirty rooms to check into and they had to come back down and get a different room. The lines were very slow due to this and it took me 25 min to check in with just 3 people in front of me.”

  • Conventions make parking difficult. Only one employee in the bar tending to drinks -food -table clean up-everything.

  • Mattresses were old & uncomfortable.

“The public areas of this hotel were very nice. Definitely 4 star. However the rooms were 2.5 star at best. Mattresses were old and uncomfortable, although bedding was nice. (Hampton Inn has much nicer rooms. Heck, Best Western's rooms are equal in quality). I asked the clerk if they had 2 queen beds and he snootily informed me that he had never seen a hotel with 2 queens; they all either 2 doubles or 1 king. (That's funny. We almost always get 2 queens where ever we stay). We had a very nice view. There was a very small selection of free cable channels. For a fee you can have more channels and for another fee you can use the internet. Valet parking attendants were very nice, opening doors, helping with luggage. However, they neglected to tell us that there was free parking just a few feet away from the front door. If you're on a budget, you can save the $18.00 a day they charge and park yourself. Overall, it was a nice stay, and a nice hotel, but we've most certainly had better from a 4 star.”

  • Good location and friendly staff is the only things I liked about this hotel.
  • They didn't use fitted sheets on the beds.

“I would have to rate this hotel a 2.5 to 3 star. The rooms had low ceiling height, maybe 7 foot. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom so you had to shower with the door open to vent the steam. The gift shop was outrageously over priced (I paid nearly $16.00 for a 6oz tube of sunscreen). It was close to the municipal airport and there was a lot of small plain traffic around the hotel. My son and I did a little exploring the first morning we were there. We went into the club they have down stairs, and it was very dirty. I don't mean it was a mess from the night before. I mean there were cob webs on the walls, the seat cushions had tears in them, etc.”

  • Clean, comfortable, quiet. People were friendly when I checked in.
  • Would have liked to have refrigerator in the room.

“It was a great place to stay. Staff was friendly, it was clean throughout. The room was nice with a good view. Beds were comfortable and bedding was very nice. The remote to the TV did not work and the responsiveness was excellent when the hotel staff was notified. Good experience.”

  • Easy to get to, very clean, nice staff, beautiful facility.
  • We left a pillow and the staff could not locate it 20 minutes after check out.

“I've been to many hotels of this star level and this facility did not disappoint. Very beautiful lobby, great staff, clean and nice. Easy to get to and park. My only issue was the house keepers were unable to find a pillow left in the room only 20 minutes after we checked out.”
