“We were delighted with the upgrade to the king suite. It was beautiful and spacious, two granite baths, two TV's, lovely appointments. The bedroom was located upstairs.”

“The room was very small, the beds were oversized singles, they were also broken. No water pressure, tub did not drain. TV
was old and there were very few channels, hotel lobby smelled like paint all the time.”

“Probably would not stay there again, nice location, but room temp control not working very warm at night, huge area in lobby empty no lounge no restaurant, just an empty huge hotel area. Has great possibilities but have stayed there over past 8 years several times, and it always looks under construction - rooms were nothing special, good Rusk personal care items and nice addition of Starbucks, but not open several times when we were interested in going there.”

“The hotel was nice. The staff not very friendly. We used the hot tub and there was raw fiberglass which got in our skin and left us itchy for days.”

“The Intercontinental was a wonderful stay. Like the other Hotel Intercontinental we stayed at (in Buddapest) it felt different somehow from the typical Marriott or other luxury hotel we've stayed at here in the US. The decor was beautiful, the food was fantastic and the staff was prompt when needed and invisible when not. Overall, I was convinced that my previous experience with the chain was not a fluke and that I will try staying at more HC as I travel.”

“Overall, excellent
seemed several rooms were short towel set ups & coffee set up, my room had no robes
another room had only 1 robe
my room climate control would not turn off unless we turned the entire unit off - but staff response was quick & adequate. We always enjoy the stay
and would definitely return.”

“No free refrigerators and a bottle of water costs $4.50. Not family-friendly kind. Even motel-6 provides free refrigerator!”

“It was okay. Rooms were renovated but they should have spent money on flat screens and beds. Beds were super hard which would be okay, but mine sloped horribly to one side making me feel like I was going to fall out. Bathrooms were great. Room was clean. Staff was nice.”

“The Intercontinental Hotel of Dallas is a beautiful and conveniently located hotel. It was wonderful for a night's get-a-way for my husband and my anniversary. The rooms were very nice, modern but elegant, comfortable and roomy.”

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The location is terrible. Not enough front desk staff. Long waits in line to check in/out. Water in bathrooms is not hot enough. Rooms very noisy due to construction taking place. Beds are uncomfortable, and rooms are outdated. Housekeeping knocks on your room unexpectedly during the early hours prior to check out, w/out necessarily knowing if that is the right room to clean, which was very annoying because they woke me up 3 times.”

“Hotel was worth the money I spent as the room was spacious and nicely appointed. However, the bed mattress was quite hard, leaving my back somewhat sore the next day. Other than the bed, the hotel was fine.

“Hotel was very nice and staff was excellent - went over and beyond. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Biggest problem was the television being old and not working great and very limited cable stations. The other issue was the parking. You had to walk a bit when you self parked, but there was not a lot of self parking - especially with a conference or wedding at the hotel which then forces you to park in the garage which is $10 a park (no in & out privileges). That was not good. There is valet, but that could fill up too. Lots of nice restaurants around the area, some fairly easy to walk to, but not all.”

“This was a really nice hotel. My only complaint would be that the room temperature was not regulated, it was either too hot or too cold. The beds were okay, although they were not what I have experienced in a previous 4-star hotel.”
