  • Loved the chocolate chip cookies at check in!
  • Smoking room, was horrible smelling!

  • The price, the cookie, free parking, nice pool area, and the late-night food.
  • They are not dog friendly. My room seemed a little dark and dreary. The pics in the elevator need to be updated.

  • The warm fresh cookies at check in and comfort of beds.
  • No microwave or mini fridge in room.

“My child had surgery at Children's Hospital and I had to carry her in and out to the hospital for two days. The staff helped me the entire time and I am so appreciative!”

  • We liked the comfortable bedding and the Nuetrogena bath products.
  • Tight bathroom space and old bedroom decor.

“We were able to check in early which was great. They only had two double beds available at the time, but that was fine. A lot of hotels will not let you check in early at all, so we were pleased. At check in the front desk clerk handed me two warm cookies along with my room cards. She did not explain why she was giving them to me, but apparently this is a Doubletree standard. My stay was fine, but again, it was a 3 star stay at best, not a 3.5 star.”

  • The blueberry pancakes we ordered for breakfast through room service were absolutely delicious.
  • We were not thrilled about the location. Abandoned buildings were businesses once stood and an old demolished hotel next door was the downside.

“Outside of needing a bit of a face lift, the hotel itself proved to be a decent price-line pick. The lobby was nice. The check-in process was smooth and quick. The employees were friendly and efficient. The king room was spacious and clean. Room service / breakfast was great. The workout facility and pool area were occupied and well kept. Overall, I was pleased.”

  • The balcony overlooking the downtown skyline of Dallas was beautiful
  • For an anniversary trip it would have been nice to have had a King Size bed instead of 2 doubles.

“Conveniently located to Market Center area...but the neighborhood is a downtown neighborhood...We did hear a gunshot Sunday night.”

  • I like the thermostats in the room instead of the ac/heater, that most hotels have.
  • The hotel outside looked dirty.

  • The location to the market center.
  • My room was small.

“This hotel was great for our stay. The Lobby was small but had an upscale decor. There was a computer located in the lobby for traveler's usage and they gave warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in.”

  • The comfort and luxury of the rooms was wonderful. You felt like you were staying in a very upscale (high-end) hotel.
  • I liked everything.

“The Doubletree hotel was awesome. I would highly recommend this hotel. The beds were so comfortable it felt like I was in my own bed at home.”

  • I was locked out of my room; because the card-reader on the door did not work, and it took 2 days to fix .

“The staff was very friendly about my problem above - however the only problem I had with the situation is. I told the lady at the front desk when I left that morning about the door not working and asked her to fix while we were out for the day. But when we went up to our room for the night, which was after 8 pm, the door was still not fixed. However, they did get it resolved before we went to bed.”

  • The food in the hotel restaurant was very good and not over priced.
  • The bathroom was clean and updated but not very big.

“The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. It was very convenient to American Airlines Center. A free shuttle is provided to events. There is not many restaurants near, only a Denny's across the street. We ate supper and breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. Both meals were very good and at a good value.”

  • Location and price.

“Upon check-in, the woman at the front desk did not acknowledge me, a man from the back came to check me in and was not friendly. Upon returning later in the evening, I asked the front desk if they could tell me of a food delivery service, as the restaurant was closed, I was told there wasn't any delivery,and no vending machines. When I got to my room, I called Domino's, who promptly delivered to my room. And there was a sign on a different floor than mine, that pointed to Vending machines. I did not go to see if there were any or not.”

  • Beds, bedding, shower head, bathroom, room was very nice!
  • We did not get a king size bed.

“Very nice hotel, was very impressed. The beds and bedding were so nice and comfortable, the room decorations were very nice, bathroom was very nice, especially the shower heads. Very impressed. Did not specify king size bed when we checked in, came right back immediately.”
