• Location is good, and is very nice for an older hotel. Very nicely remodeled.
• A little below standards for a doubletree, but still a nice hotel.

“I stay at hotels an average of 100 nights per year. While it is possibly not quite as fancy and plush as a typical doubletree property, it is still a nice hotel, and one of the better remodels of an older facility I have stayed at. It was an excellent value for the price and star level selected.”

“As a business women I have been staying at a variety of Whyndham hotels and while at my stay at the Wyndham hotel in Dallas, TX. I was very upset over the service. I had a bad experience at the front desk with the young girl who completely messed up my reservations and when I asked to speak to her manager it got worse. The manager have a clue on how to fix the problem. So when I asked to speak to the GM she stared to get a very bad attitude and said that the GM refused to talk to me. I decided to take my service to the Crown Plaza, across from this place.”

• The location was great because it is near a main highway.
• The cleanliness of the drinking glasses in the rooms.

“The hotel was conveniently located for my husband and the reception desk was friendly. The access to the computer was good. It would be nice to add a small refrigerator and if possible a microwave to the rooms. Overall, the hotel is good.”

• Lobby and public areas were wonderful. Hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
• The walls of this hotel are paper thin. You must request a non adjoining room.

“Location was excellent. Rooms were comfortable and updated. Staff was excellent. The problem is that the walls are paper thin. We had to move rooms and it did little to help. The staff found us another room and it was much quieter until pilots/business travelers had to get up at 3 and 4 am. You could hear people in the hall, the beep of the elevator was constant. We got a free breakfast.”

• Food was better than expected.
• Poor service.

“We didn't get our appetizer that we ordered before our meal arrived. So had to cancel it. Didnt get our wake up call! The main reason for staying there was to be at a conference at 7:15 am and they never called us. My husband, daughter, and I all heard me call for a wake-up at 6:15 and we all never heard the phone ring. It defeated the whole reason for staying there. This is too simple to get wrong!”

• The day of check in the front desk personal was wonderful.
• Wanted to take my food to my room, she would put it in a box for me not take plate out. I left my food on table.

“The hotel was excellent, my room was small but it still afforded me the quality of a larger room. Mostly I liked the quietness because I had to work three nights.”

• Very comfortable and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No complaints.
• The area is a little ruff. But - if you are with a group or partner, it's fine.

• No continental breakfast.

“The warm chocolate chip cookies were great but a warm muffin the next morning would have been even greater!”

• Everything was newly renovated. Very clean and tasteful.
• We got up early to leave on our departure day and someone had a dog they were taking back to the room.

“The hotel was very nice. However they put us in probably one of the smallest rooms they had just across from the elevator. We weren't there that much so we really didn't care. We felt it was still a wonderful value for the money. The down duvets and pillows were wonderful it was like sleeping in a cloud!!”

• I liked the Wolfgang puck coffee/coffeemaker and the beds were fabulous.
• Lack of parking.

“As a first-time visitor to Dallas for the Cotton Bowl, my primary concern was where to go after the game to have fun. The staff offered several options, but ultimately their first choice was best. The hotel was also very nice, but the staff was absolutely superb. Thanks for making my Cotton Bowl experience exceptional!”
