• It was a family friendly hotel. It was very close to the movies & shopping. It was easy to get to.
• The pool area could have been a lot nicer. It was very generic.

“Our stay at this hotel was very nice. The rooms were a very nice size for a family of 5 and they were very clean. The room service was very prompt. The price was excellent! The location was perfect. Easy to get too and right by the movie theater, shopping, and nice restaurants. The only flaw is the generic pool area. It needs to be dressed up to go along with the rest of the hotel.”

• The TV in the room was fantastic. Design of the room good.
• No dislikes.

“I recommend this hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The big screen, high definition TV was the best I have experienced in any hotel. Good steak house next door. Shopping mall near by. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Cont. breakfast was good.”

• Rooms were nice with flat panel TVs.
• Manager did not follow up with my reservation for the next week.

“I was please with the hotel and service. I appreciate the service. I was going to be in town this week and wanted to stay at the same hotel. A great hotel stay and poor follow up on the managers part.”

• It was attractive, clean, lots of space in the room, and staff was pleasant and helpful.
• We didn't have any problems with anything at the hotel.

“Our stay at Hyatt Place was very pleasant. Our room was quiet even though we were near the elevators. The room had a nice arrangement for two--sleeping and work area. The room temperature was easy to control. Everything was clean. I'll look for Hyatt in the future.”

• Very clean, very quiet, nice rooms, great TV.
• What's not to like?

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very quiet; the bed was comfortable, huge TV screen visible throughout the room, mini fridge, and nice snack bar downstairs, right next door to a grocery store if you need more. I really enjoyed my stay.”

• The room was very large, comfortable, and had electronic compatibility.
• No Jacuzzi, paid for hot breakfast was just so-so, free continental was good though.

“I only paid 45 dollars for a room that was worth around 200 dollars. It was their normal room, but equaled or exceeded anything at Embassy Suites or other similar hotels. Very convenient 24 hour food/beverage service in the lobby or room service. Nice, small treadmill gym. Outside pool which can't be used on a cold or rainy day, unless you like cold water. Brand new, upscale fixtures, 42in. flat panel TV, cordless phone, fridge, large desk, large couch, comfortable king sized bed, and best of all; check out time is still at 12 noon, while other hotels are moving their check outs earlier and earlier. It's located on the North Dallas toll road, which makes getting around very convenient, but pricey, so bring quarters.”

• The front desk staff was consistently inept.

“Nice, clean hotel with inept staff. Front desk staff could not operate computer to check me in. Once checked in, the front desk staff could not program a key card. Otherwise, no complaints.”

• Bed side lamps hard to work.

“This hotel is great. It suits our needs when wear in Plano. Unfortunately our car and two others were broken into in the parking lot. The hotel was helpful in calling the police. I don't blame the hotel. It could have happened anywhere.”

• New and nice rooms (48" plasma TV).
• "Heated" pool outside was not ready for use.

“This is a very nice hotel with easy access to three of the largest malls in DFW. There are also a number of restaurants in the area, from inexpensive to exclusive. The hotel has almost the feel of a European suite. With bedroom, bar, and sofas to lounge on, while enjoying the game on a 48" plasma.”

• This motel was upscale, clean, and modern and a wonderful place to stay.
• Nothing.

“Hyatt place is an excellent choice for the leisure traveler and the business traveler. It's upscale, modern, clean, comfortable and well appointed. I would highly recommend it to any traveler.”

• Very stylish, very comfortable with a "trendy" flare!
• No swimming pool.

“Great staff, very friendly. Wonderful décor. Very upscale look without the high end upscale price. I would highly recommend the Hyatt Place of Plano to any one. I certainly hope to stay there every time I select for a hotel in that area.”
