“I honestly expected more from a 3 1/2 star hotel. I arrived late in the afternoon and when I tried grab a shower I couldn't figure out how to use the thing. I ended up calling the desk and they sent a handy man to the room. It took about 5 minutes for him to figure out how the shower diverter worked, it's hidden underneath the on/off handle and is nearly impossible to see, and then the water was cold. Next day the elevators were having issues. I couldn't get to the lobby except in the service elevator. The internet connection at this hotel is worse than dial-up. I use Netflix, and could not watch any streaming video. The connection speed is too slow. No type of continental breakfast, you have to buy an expensive meal in the attached restaurant. They also allow pets. I had to listen to a dog bark at all hours of the night. No way in my opinion this hotel should be 3.5 stars. I have stayed in better for less.”

“I would stay away from this hotel for at least a few months. It under complete reconstruction and the noise is unbelievable. The elevators wouldn't work at times and I had to take the dirty service elevator. Management wasn't too helpful in responding to my complaints of noise. I finally got up and left to a relatives to get some sleep on Sunday morning. I am sure it will be fine once the construction is complete.”

“Excellent choice for business travelers. Room was quite despite close proximity to airport and busy street traffic. The room was very attractive but the bed was fairly uncomfortable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

“Hotel seems to cater to non professionals. Loud talking in hallways after midnight. Aesthetic improvements made but basics (like heating unit) are obviously old. My dinner was interrupted when I was asked to take my credit card to the front desk so that dining staff could close out my check (at approx. 8:30 pm). Accommodations are ok for those traveling on a budget but I certainly would not classify this as a 3 star hotel.”

“The hotel bathroom was not cleaned by housekeeping since the previous tenant checkout. When I called the hotel desk could care less. The bed was one of the worst beds I've slept in. I checked out a day early and lost the money. I bought a new room via Hotwire. This a 2 star hotel at best.”

“Nice place, great room, everything cool so far. Ordered room service and that was okay. Next morning, noticed the old under-the-door express check out receipt. Noticed that there was a room charge and the room service on there. Went to the front desk just to make sure that they weren't double-charging me. He ended up printing me a new receipt with the room charge taken off. However, looking at my online bank statement, that exactly what he did. He didn't actually remove the charge. He just printed a receipt that didn't show the charge.”

“The hotel was fabulous except for a few minor things. When we arrived check in was fast and easy. When we asked for a carrier or bellhop for our luggage we didn't get any assistance. We had to carry all of our luggage up three floors with out any kind of luggage cart or bellhop. The room was very room and clean, the only thing was it didn't have an refrigerator or microwave. When we travel we usually buy sandwich stuff to save money and it helps to have a refrigerator. Other than those few things our stay was fabulous.”

“The hotel was pleasant and the staff was eager to please. Arrived on New Years Eve around 10 pm. The shuttle service was closed, but the driver was allowed to make an extra trip, where 2 couples were dropped off at the American Airlines Center to enjoy the New Years festivities. Thanks for making the accommodations so convenient and friendly. We did take care of the driver. We had a great time.”

“I have been in the hotel business for more than 20 years and this was one of the worst stays I have ever had. The wallpaper had pink mold spots and behind the AC the paper was loose and the wall was solid black with mold. I woke up feeling ill the next morning. Will never stay here again.”
