• Location and price.
• The bed was very uncomfortable.

“Check in/out was fast and employee's were courteous. The room was large enough, although I had no use for the kitchen area, it was nicely equipped. The hotel/room was very clean, but the carpets in the hallways were very stained and needed to be replaced. The a/c was a wall unit which was directly beside the bed, so the air blew directly in your face. The mattress's needed to be replaced, they were very firm/uncomfortable. The hotel was quiet, never heard any noise in the hallways or in the rooms next door.”

• Hotel is poorly lit, rundown and dirty.

“Although I paid for a 2 night stay, I left after one night because I did not feel safe. The long interior hallways are dimly lit. No one was at the front desk until I called out for assistance when checking in. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Sheets very thin and rough. Carpet and chair were dirty and stained. No toiletries provided other than a bar of soap. Fortunately I had packed shampoo. Towels are extremely thin--need 2 to dry off-- after shower--and are not replaced daily. Dirty towels may be exchanged for clean ones at the front desk. No daily refreshing of room.”

• Large TV.
• Trash not picked up in hallway over the weekend (trash cans were overfilling into hallway for the entire weekend) and this was right outside our room.

“This hotel is on the bottom of my recommendation list. The staff was not helpful in any way when my wife could not get in-to the laundry facility when they key would not work. As well as the same for the exterior doors. The pool was as cloudy as a glass of milk. There was only enough flat ware for one person to eat at a time in the room but enough plates go figure. To make a long story short a box on the corner would have been just as convenient.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• The room smelled musty every time we entered. Perhaps because of being in a humid state which we are not used to, but the smell was unpleasant.

“This was a very pleasant room, except for the 'musty' smell every time we came back to the room. Needed a few more dishes in the kitchen, but it was adequate. Also, many travelers today drink decaf coffee as well as regular, but which they had none to offer. However, the staff was all very friendly and helpful which made it easier to overlook some of these small inconveniences.”

• Carpet in room was a little smelly, needed a better cleaning job.

“Overall I was very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The staff wasn't over friendly. When we checked in and they never fixed our smoke alarm, but outside of that I had no issues. I feel differently now because this hotel was better than I expected it to be.”

• I love the location. The room had a cozy layout.
• Dirty carpet in the hall ways misleads room appearance.

“Overall, I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future. I was a great location in relation to shops and the freeway. I feel that it has a lot of other pricier hotels beat. If it were my hotel, I would rip away all the dirty filthy carpet in the hallways. If I was just visiting I probably would have taken one look at that carpet and left, because the rooms could be just as bad. Much to my surprise the rooms a very cozy and comfortable.”
