• The motel was close to my job site.
• There were biting bugs.

“The room was large, but with biting bugs, no refrigerator, nasty shower, poor and inconvenient lighting, the bathroom ran constantly waking me up during the night. I felt uncomfortable, safety wise.”

• Clean, safe, near shopping, restaurants, and attractions.
• Could have had a few more TV channels.

“Overall, it was a fine place to stay. It had all the little extras, coffee pot, hair dryer, etc. There were plenty of towels, the staff was friendly. The AC worked great, the bed was comfortable. The location was near everything we wanted to see. I hate to even mention the TV channels, it was fine for us, but people with small children might want a few more channels.”

• It was not expensive.
• It was a little smelly and location was hard to find.

“This hotel was the bare minimum. The hotel was comfortable. A slight smell was in the room but not distracting at all. Brown water would come out of the faucet when you would turn on the water but would clear up after a few seconds. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Check out time.
• Dirty bathtub - non flushing toilet.

“The worst I have ever been in in my 55 years of life. We were told they were connecting rooms and their opinion of connecting was side by side. Definitely a horrible experience for my Goddaughter's Bachelorhood party. I was totally embarrassed plus they made us pay extra to check in 30 minutes early. I would never recommend this place. The odor when we opened the rooms for a non smoking room was absolutely a smoking room. I was so ashamed after the total cost I could have had the Double Tree or Marriott.”

• It was in a good location, close to good restaurants, malls, and a good part of town.
• The sheets were very thin, the blanket was worn thin and the whole place stunk.

“This is not a two star hotel. Definitely one star. The bedding should have been replaced years ago. We slept with only a thin sheet because the blanket was old, musty and Nasty. The lobby and room smelled foul. Musty and moldy and like afro sheen. You need to change to a one star. Room 127. Check it out for yourself. Be sure to hold you nose first though.”

• They were pleasant and helpful and took care of things in a timely manner.
• Nothing.

“The room was clean and reasonably attractive. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. There was plenty of parking and we parked right outside our door. There was enough linen, though the towels were pretty rough. They could use some softener when they are laundered. All in all, we will come back again.”

• It was in a very good location, next to some very prestigious restaurants.
• The shower heads were really bad and lacked water pressure.

“My experience with this hotel has typically been one that leaves a lot to be desired. I wish it were removed completely from your list. My most recent gripe is that I spent 3 nights there and didn't receive housekeeping a single time although I made them aware of it. When departing they didn't offer any kind of compensation either.”

“Super 8 is not a two star hotel. The hotel is old and run down. The desk staff was apathetic at best. The room was clean but gross. In three days my room was only cleaned once. ”

• Almost everything.

“The front desk person did not speak English adequately. There appeared to be prostitution going on at the facility. My room had a bad odor (the faint smell of vomit) The sheets were worn thin. The bed rolled you to the middle. The room had visible dust. The carpet was stained. The TV remote control was sticky. I paid for 2 nights but did not stay the second night, I moved to another hotel.”

“1. I had 3 adults in my group and when I called to ask for 2 beds, I was told they only had 1 king bed. Knowing there was nothing I could do since the room was paid for; I brought my blow up mattress to sleep on the floor.2. I go to the night clerk--it was late--and asked for extra sheets and blanket to make out my blow up mattress and the lazy, idiot clerk says "I don't have access to the laundry room". That is a first. I have traveled a lot in my life and have never been told such a thing. So........all three of us adults had to sleep in the bed and it was horrible.2. For some reason, when I checked in I had to give a credit card for the clerk to swipe for incidentals--no problem, I have done this plenty of times. However, the clerk said I had to sign the credit card slip, which I did not want to do. He said I would get the slip back when I check out.3. I check out the next morning--ask for my credit card slip and guess what--yep, it could not be found anywhere. Can I choose not to have that particular hotel again?”

• Quiet, close to shops, restaurants.
• For the money it was fine, no problems.

“This motel was a little hard to find, tucked away behind a strip mall and sign very small. I suspect they could be a lot busier if they increased the height of the sign although a zoning problem may exist. But being hard to find isn't all bad . . . it was quiet and adequately clean. I'd go again at the price in a heart beat.”

• Price was worth it. Location was okay.
• Duplicate issue of room numbers had other people trying to get in at 2:00 AM. Turned out to be a mess that was not resolved adequately.

• Cleanliness, atmosphere, attitude, and helpfulness were huge sellers on this hotel.
• Not one thing.

“I will stay there from now on. The people were great and I felt like they truly wanted to help me if I needed anything. They would ask before I would , which was a shock. I will never stay at the one in Tulsa again, at Memorial, it was disgusting and the people were as well.”

• Woman at front desk was great.
• 120 degree room that wouldn't cool down.

“We checked in around 6. The room was very hot, so we put A/C on high and went to dinner. 2 hours later, the room is still unbearably hot, and we are tired. They were good about getting us another room, but we had to wait for it to cool off before we could retire for the night. Not fun.”
