• The friendliness of the staff, 1960'ish room furnishings, cleanliness, location.
• Lack of attention to broken items, like commode constantly running and broken handle on kitchen faucet.

“Overall it was great. The clerk that checked us in remembered us each time she saw us, and other staff always greeted us when they saw us. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who wants a friendly, comfortable and conveniently located place to stay in Dallas.”

• This hotel was very clean, friendly employees, space rooms.
• It did not have a bar nor a restaurant, it was too far from attractions downtown.

“Overall I enjoyed my stay at this motel, because it was very comfortable and had security at night.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff.
• Room was not clean and more.

“The hotel is only convenient if you rent a car. I asked for non-smoking and got a room with strong stench of cigarettes and a cigarette left in the sink. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate. Their are trade-offs when you travel economy. They at least made it right when I complained about the room condition. I would stay again because the price was good with clear expectations made in advance.”

• Price.
• Staff did not know what rooms were vacant and sent me to 2 rooms with guests inside.

“This is the worst hotel experience yet. I was given a room with a guest inside. I went back and got another key to another room with a guest inside. I went back and was given a key to a room where the AC didn't work. Finally I got a decent room after 4 tries.”

• Perfect location for everything we were doing.
• Only a single bed and a pull out couch available.

“I purchased this room for my family visiting from out of town. They allowed me to check in early to accommodate my work schedule and were very nice to my entire family, including all 5 kids.”

• The mattress was like sleeping on brittle paper. Very noisy but comfortable.

• Non smoking room smells like smoke, staff is average in politeness.

• Price was exceptional for amenities received.
• Room condition needed improvement.

“Some maintenance was needed in the room. Sheetrock holes in closet needed patchwork, walls needed some touch up paint. Kitchen wall clock was not working. Room did not have shampoo or conditioner available, had to go to front desk for them, inconvenient. Wash cloths were hidden under sink bathroom cabinet, should have been visible for guest to use. Had to pay for wireless internet connection which was a surprise. Many other properties include this service with your stay. Value and hospitality of staff was excellent for this business trip.”

• The pool was being shocked, so couldn't swim like last time.

• The location and cleanliness.
• That it was hot and had to run the air for several hrs. before cooling.

“The hotel was fine, for the most part, the extra amenities were nice. The first room the air did not work, so I requested a new room. After waiting an hour I went to the check in desk to request another room, and the second room was a lot better. Did not offer comp. anything due to the inconvenience of having to move to another room.”

• Staff extremely friendly.
• Sorta barren feeling worn-out couch belonged in my old dorm.

“This hotel is conveniently located and gets the job done. not fancy and kind of barren. Some furniture is too worn for a major national chain. Staff is friendly, though, and overall not too bad for the price.”

• The employees and cleanliness- felt like a home.
• One very non-empathetic employee.

“From the very first impression when we walked into the lobby to check in, we were treated with nothing but complete friendliness and compassion. I felt like I was instantly welcome. The two employees at the front desk, when we checked in were, struck up a conversation and inquired about who we were as people, but it didn't feel they were inquiring because they were just nosy or bored and wanted something to talk about once we walked away. I felt they honestly wanted to know us as people. I stayed down there and talked with them for about an hour, and I am a very shy person. It hard to go anywhere these days and feel like there isn't some kind of judgment being placed on you. And the feeling to be able to walk into a hotel and instantly feel like you are welcome and have friends there that you have known for life, is what it takes to create an atmosphere that people will not only want to go to because of the economical benefits, but just to feel like they can come here and relax and really enjoy their stay and definitely come back again and again.”

• It was clean.
• Smelled like smoke. No DVD.

“The bed was not a pillow top mattress that we were led to believe all Extended Stay hotels have and we were told by the front desk attendant confirmed that every room has DVD players, however ours did not. Also the whole place smelled of smoke. It was ok for the price of the room but I will be more selective next time.”

• The bathroom tub was moldy.

“Other than the mold around the tub in the calk, this hotel was a good choice since it has a full kitchen. I would definitely return. I reported the mold so lets see if they fix it.”

“This hotels has 3 C's from me: Courteous, Clean, And Convenient! I would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a home away from home. The best part of staying at this hotel, aside from the safety and cleanliness of the place, was the superior customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make me and my 3 year old feel at home. It became a personal experience and I have to say, even though I was moving into a new home upon check-out, I felt like I wanted to stay. It's truly a 'deluxe' and great place to stay, whether in transition, traveling, or just needed a break from the hustle and bustle.”

• Housekeeping does not come in every day.

“Over all my stay was perfect! The only complaint was that housekeeping did not come in and replace towels or anything, but that was no problem. I just went to the lobby and asked for some more. I absolutely love this place!”

• Spacious, no smoking odor as requested, clean studio, friendly and helpful agents including maintenance.
• No shuttle service to and from the market. They can organize this with the Dallas Market Management.

“I will definitely stay here again as long as the non smoking room I requested is available. Its location is really great to the Market Center. It will be nice if they can provide shuttle or some kind of a convenient transportation to and from the market centre.”
