• Clean, but slow check in. Friendly staff.
• I expected covered parking which was not available.

“Clean, excellent for business travelers. For the 3 star hotel, provided a little extra like earplugs (if you are next to the family, you need them).”

• There was a musical convention.

“I enjoyed the stay with the exception of the crowd in the lobby and in front of the door. The crowd was dirty as they trashed up the parking lot. I enjoyed my stay otherwise. Good staff, comfortable rooms.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• The parking lot was dirty and full of pot holes.

“The hotel was very busy because there was a music convention in the hotel. We had no idea. When we arrived and checked in, the desk staff told us about the convention and said that they had several guests cancel due to the crowded hotel. She said we could do the same, but since we were only going to be staying one night we figured it would be fine. The room was very quiet and the air conditioner was very cold. We had no problems with this hotel and would recommend it to others.”

• The staff was top notch in customer satisfaction issues were addressed quickly courteous staff very helpful.
• Maintenance was lacking even though recently remodeled but they were quick to change our room no problems and very helpful.

“This hotel is very business and family oriented. Very clean and all the staff was excellent. I had cause to interact with each area. Front desk (excellent), restaurant, housekeeping, maintenance, they were all very courteous and helpful which is rare these days. I give the staff a 10. We had some maintenance issues they were very quick to satisfy us. The beds are very comfortable. Restaurant breakfast buffet is excellent includes cook to order menu, staff wonderful. Exercise room/indoor pool/guest laundry. Has everything you could need. Would stay again and would recommend.”

• Prompt service when needed.
• House keeping.

“Over all experience was good. Stayed for 2 nights. Left around 9 am on day 1 and returned after 10 pm. Room was never cleaned. We called the front desk and requested towels ASAP. Within 5 mins we had our towels.”

• The hotel was wonder - in comparison with a Sheraton - all of the staff were great!
• The neighborhood is a little to be desired but iron fencing all around.

“Crowne Plaza is owned by Holiday Inn which seem to trying to compete with Sheraton - I would stay at this hotel over a Sheraton any day - actually I will not stay anywhere else when in Dallas. The staff is incredible - they can't do enough for you - and they have been able to hire customer friendly staff. The linens are very good - lots of pillows to sleep on - and the rooms are large - the renovation has been done very nicely - there is a business center which is great - a pool/hot tub and a great workout center - a very nice hotel.”

• Remodeling in progress = Problems.

“Once the remodeling is completed I would expect this to hotel to achieve its star rating. The air conditioning in room was not cooling and according to the repairman, the hotel "was experiencing massive A/C problems" throughout the whole facility.”

• Access to parking was small and right on freeway access road.

“Good location, easy to find. The staff could not be more accommodating. My wife and I thought the room was clean and comfortable and well decorated.”

• The hotel had a lot of nice facilities like an indoor pool and fitness room.
• The wireless internet, while free, had poor connectivity.

“The hotel was attractive. But my first interaction with the staff was disappointing. I had to wait several minutes before being acknowledged. The person I thought was a desk clerk on the phone turned out to be a luggage handler on a personal call. He summoned the desk clerk, who did apologize, but added, "We're really short-staffed right now." I always find it very unprofessional to tell a customer something like that. After this I was checked in quickly and easily, and the staff were friendly, but that was one negative first impression. Also, the internet connectivity was poor in my room. Several times I lost connection in the middle of a task, which was frustrating. I also had to stay in the center of the room to pick up the signal at all. The room was nice enough, but the TV was older, small, and had a red tint to the picture.”

• I loved the decor of the rooms and the lobby was beautiful.
• The housekeeper that brought us towels was very rude and made it obvious that asking for towels was an inconvenience to her.

“This hotel with its gleaming white linens and red accent pillows was very comfortable place to stay. It is in an excellent location for the places I wanted to see. I was very happy with the hotel itself. I would love to go back someday.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• There were several strip clubs around.

“The hotel was nice, average and basically cleaned with a few misses here and there. They advertise a recent renovation; however I cannot really tell where that happened. The room was quiet and comfortable which is what mattered to us.”
