• Problems with the room but they were quick to remedy.
• Hot water heater didn't work and A/C unit not up to par.

“Room was clean and well appointed. Access was easy and rooms were comfortable. Not sure I like the number beds..may not have had it set right. Very pleased.”

• Closeness to Dallas Cotton Bowl for OU-Texas weekend.
• It was too far from chain restaurants for dining purposes.

“The hotel was very nice. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the room. However, it was a pretty far away from restaurants like Outback and TGI Friday's, which is crucial for me when I do business trips out of state. It was close to the Dallas Cotton Bowl, which was perfect for me as I was covering the Texas game for my newspaper.”

• The lobby.
• Carpet was dirty, the bathrooms need updating and the TV's.

“I have stayed at a raddison several times but this was the first one
I stated at and did not feel comfortable being there because it did not feel or look clean.”

• Too noisy--did not sleep due to noise associate w/evnets in ballroom.

“Very disappointed. Uncomfortable, room smelled of cigarette smoke, noise level of other guests was a real problem--there was an evening event in a nearby ballroom that lasted until past 2am, children were running and yelling in hallway all night.”

• Convenient to where I needed to go.
• Lobby and hallways were very warm. Had trouble using internet service in my room.

• The staff was extremely friendly and the lobby was very large.
• The sleep number beds
  were very uncomfortable.

“The room was small and cramped, with too much furniture thrown into such a little room. The bathroom was extremely small, so small the sink had to be outside of the bathroom. The windows were small and spaced far apart and could not be used to look out of because of all the furniture in front of them. The carpet was stained, but the worst part was the sleep number beds. They were like sleeping on a glorified air mattress.”

• Rooms are spacious and decor excellent.

  loud talking.

• Location.
• Room was not prepared.

“The room was small. The blankets were down filled. There were large stains on the carpet. The coffee maker did not work; there was no toilet paper or toilet paper holder in the bathroom. The door lock was not coded so my key didn’t work and the front desk accused me of damaging the card 3 times before they sent up maintenance to fix the lock. We waited in the hall way for 30 minutes for this to be fixed. Security at the hotel was non existent with fire doors being accessible from either up or down directions and at the ground level unsecured (they should be out only).”

• Price.
• Noisy room, poor shower.

“When I arrived, there was a little delay from desk agent. A more senior person moved forward to help. Room was noisy and had this sleep number bed, which I played around with, but did not care for.”

• The location was far from restaurants & entertainment (except fast food).

• It was centrally located, easy to get to a lot of places from there.
• The workout facilities were not very good.

“This is a great place to stay at, for families or if you are traveling by yourself. The staff was great and very accommodating.”

• The staff was friendly.
• My first room had ants in the tub and hair as well. Food was priced well but lacked flavor.

“The hotel was recently remodeled and I really couldn't tell what exactly was. I had to change rooms due to unclean bathroom and bugs in the tub. I did not the sleep number bed but the room size was good.”

• Room was clean and comfortable.
• The fitness center had old/broken equipment and was not much of a fitness room.

“The room was comfortable, clean and the staff was friendly. However, the fitness center needs a lot of updating and maintenance. The location was convenient to SMU.”

• Great restaurant, pleasant staff, clean and comfortable.
• Shower would not get warm. Only hot or cold. I was moved to another room and given complimentary breakfast. Nice.

• I liked how every time I pulled up, security was always near.
• I had to try three levels before getting the coke machine to work.

“The area isn't the greatest but its okay. It was what I expected. The front desk guy at check-in was not friendly at all. He didnt even say thank you, but we just laughed. View isn't great; security is good, parking garage being built. My boyfriend didn't like the hotel. We normally pay less and like the hotel way more than this one.”
