  • Cheap, free breakfast.
  • Unclean, did not feel safe although nothing I had was stolen, says its non smoking but is not, monthly housing facility for low-income people.

“I stayed at this hotel for two separate nights while visiting Dallas for a family reunion. I needed something cheap and close to Love Field Airport, so this fit the description. However, the rooms were just scary. The first one I stayed in was on the bottom floor. I noticed the soap holder in the bathroom was broken and also saw huge finger print indentations on the door. The outside door had been kicked down- it looked like a crime scene- like someone feel in the tub and the door had to be kicked down so they could get to the person. Nice cover up job, Econo Lodge. The second room I stayed in was on the top floor- the only thing clean in that room was one of the towels and the sheets. The room had the smoke detector stolen so that people could smoke in it. I also didn't feel very safe- this hotel accommodates monthly housing for people who can't make a monthly rent- so think about it that way. I didn't have anything stolen from the though, so I guess that's a plus. Free breakfast was nice, but the only good thing there was the waffle maker. Will not return to this hotel- it would be worth the extra $10-20 per night to find something in a nicer condition that is in a safer neighborhood.”

  • Price and location.
  • No hair dryer, no iron, no coffee pot. Had to go get them.

“A good place to stay when you don't want to pay the extremely high rates of others. It was a convenient location for our purposes.”

  • The lady at the desk was having a lot of problems but she tried her best.
  • The parking area was very trashy. It gave a very bad first impression.

“The bathroom in the first room we went to was dirty and when we flushed to toilet the handle fell off, the TV and one lamp didn't work. The second room they sent us to had a broken down recliner in it but otherwise was ok. ”

  • Clean room.
  • Situated amid less-than-desirable businesses.

“Had changed from La Quinta to Luxury Inn. We had no idea, had a hard time finding it due to name change. Neither front desk person we dealt with was courteous, friendly or helpful. Nearby businesses were primarily liquor stores and gentleman's clubs. Have no desire to revisit.”

  • Free wireless Internet access.
  • Did not feel safe, parking lot was not secure.

“I thought Motel's were all rated at 1 star level. I selected 2 star level to avoid a Motel but got one anyway. I don't like outside entrances as they are less safe and this one had no security patrol that I was aware of. There were lots of shady guests wondering around the parking lot which made me feel unsure about leaving my car. The room had been freshly painted, but the bathroom was not clean and had mold in the shower. I guess for the price I paid it was not bad, but I really wish the star level ratings were more accurate.”

  • Very cold air conditioner.
  • Did not feel like my car stereo was safe in the parking lot.

“Pretty much what I expected, I didn't expect there to be a strip joint right across the street. It seemed to be in a bad neighborhood so I didn't feel like my car was safe outside. They had security though. The room itself was nice and comfortable, the beds were good and firm, and the air conditioning was very good.. that really matters when it's 108+ outside. Overall it was a good trip. Can't say that I'd be pleased to stay there again though.”

  • Location very convenient. Clean.
  • Staff seemed uninformed about amenities. TV channel programming out of date.

“Overall I am impressed with the hotel. It met my standards.”

  • Honestly, nothing.
  • Bugs, dirty, no Internet.

“It was across the street from a bus stop. That's the best thing I can tell you. It was dirty, it had MANY bugs, it did not have Internet like the brochure in the room said it did, and it was next to the highway.”

“Hotel is nice for the price but they need to add wi-fi. Hard to believe a hotel doesn't offer this service these days.”

“This is one of my favorite places to stay. When all other La quintas are not keeping their lodges clean, this one is.”
