  • Value, size.
  • Airport shuttle situation.

“Missed my connection and had to stay here with wife and kids. Very convenient location. The rooms were much bigger than I expected. We had free internet! I was quite pleased with the value. The beds were very hard and the room seemed to be a little old and un-fresh. My biggest complaint is with the shuttle. We were promised a shuttle at 5:30 am. We were out waiting on the shuttle at 5:20am. When the empty bus pulled up at 5:32am, the driver got off and told us that he had to go pick up at the other hotel and could not take use. There were only six of us and he had an empty bus. He made it seem that the other hotel was much more important than us. We waited for another 15 minutes before going in to complain to the hotel desk clerk. We had another bus within minutes. This place uses the fast track parking buses that are right next to the hotel. They really should re-examine this.”

  • They had a 24 hour shuttle to DFW, and provided a pack-n-play for our baby immediately on request.
  • No complaints.

“We were very pleased with this Best Western. We had to leave at 3:30am to catch a 6am international flight and they had a shuttle available for us at the time we requested. The room we had was big, clean and nice (king sized bed plus a fold out couch). We asked if they had a baby bed for our 6 month old and they immediately got a pack and play portable crib set up for us before we even got to our room. We were very happy with our one night stay.”

“The hotel manager told me in order to get two queen beds I would have to pay an additional $10.00 out of my pocket. Although there was a pull out bed in there my other guest was not comfortable at all on this bed. The manager explained if he gave me another queen bed the $10.00 was to cover housekeeping even though he they had to change the sheets on the hide-a-bed. I would not recommend staying at this hotel to anyone!”

  • The beds are hard and the breakfast lacked desire.

“Overall, the hotel wasn't that bad. But I was expecting something like a (Marriott) Fairfield. Nice beds, suited for the business traveler. Good breakfast.”

  • The free breakfast was awful.

“Over all they did a good job. The clerk that checked us in gave us lip when we asked for 2 queen beds instead of a king. He was rude. The room was great. The free breakfast was poor. The area was poorly supplied. The waffle batter was a joke. I have had the same waffles elsewhere, and they were great.”

  • The free shuttle service from airport was excellent.
  • There were no restaurants close by but hotel provided pizza delivery menu.

“We were impressed with the quality of this hotel. Upon calling for the airport shuttle, we were picked up very quickly and taken to the hotel. The staff was very helpful in providing us with pizza delivery menus as there were no restaurants nearby that were open. I would definitely stay here again!”

  • Lobby was clean,.
  • Bathroom was tiny, so close to busy highway that room rattled with trucks passing.

“Well below the 2 1/2 star rating it was portrayed at in the name your own price, but that might be because on your set price for hotels in DFW north area, it was a 2 star hotel not 2 1/2. It is at best 2 star and not nearly as nice as a Comfort Inn. It definitely is not in the class of a Marriott Courtyard. Too small and way too noisy. Rooms appointed more like a moderate hotel. Trucks went by on Highway 114 and the room literally shook. Highway 114 is busy 24 hours per day. Sorry, you advertised this as a 2 1/2 star and confirmed that rating when I phoned to try to make other arrangements in the area. Your own site rated it as 2 stars. I am sorry that you can't get your name your own price in sync with your regular site ratings. However, this hotel would have problems with competing with most 2 star hotels on your regular site.”

  • The room was clean and did not feel small.
  • The breakfast was terrible. There was nothing but instant oatmeal and cold cereal.

“While the hotel and room was clean, the furniture seemed ill placed. The breakfast was sparse at best.”

  • Airport shuttle never came to pick me up.

“I thought the staff's attention to my problem with the airport shuttle was unacceptable. The shuttle never came to pick me up, so I waited for two hours before finally having to pay for a cab. Upon telling the front desk at check in, the employee shrugged and offered no response.”

  • Surprisingly good hotel food for a Holiday Inn!
  • Internet connection was a tad slow.

“This is a good, easy hotel to stay at. It has everything you need, and nothing you don't need. The restaurant is good, the staff is friendly, the room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. The furnishings are perhaps a tad on the older side but that's ok.”

  • It was convenient and available.
  • Some the countertops in the room were dusty, there was a musty smell in one of the 2 rooms we were in, and the selection of breakfast items was poor.

“Convenient to the airport, but definitely not on par with a Courtyard or Hampton Inn. The Choice Hotel group should not be considered an equal to either the Hilton or Marriott groups. To list this hotel as a 2.5 hotel is not accurate.”

  • The swimming pool was not crowded.

“Upon entering the room there was some stains evident on the sofa. The room was hot and the refrigerator was not plugged in and ready to take food. The Jacuzzi was not functioning. When it was time to sleep, we noticed there was no bedding for the sleeper sofa went to the desk and the kid behind the counter said the maid service was gone for the day and they locked up the closet. He was not helpful at all and we wound up sleeping on the bed, all four of us. The air conditioner was so noisy it kept us awake all the night.”

  • Beds were clean and relatively comfortable, TV worked, pool was nice.
  • A/C was dis temperate, water pressure poor, few pillows.

“Rooms are clean and most lights work, though our refrigerator did not, and A/C was not on, meaning room was 90 degrees when we checked in. Meets basics needs, though you will have to ask and cross fingers for extra pillows or towels, and the pullout beds are bad even for a bad genre. Bring a sleeping bag.”
