• It was very convenient to restaurants and the mall.
• I did not like that when I booked 1 room for a romantic night I could only get a room with 2 beds.

“This was a very convenient place to stay. It was close to a lot of restaurants and places to shop. As I mentioned before the only thing I was not pleased with was that I reserved the room for a romantic birthday celebration and could only get a room with 2 full beds instead of 1 king.”

• Carpet was old and dirty.

“The staff was very nice and helpful though not familiar with the area. Hotel is next to Lowes and when I ask if there was other shopping next to Lowes was told no which is true, but when asking about other shopping close she did not seem to know and there was a shopping center across the street.”

• Clerk was polite but not friendly.

“This hotel was clean and near restaurants and shopping. The breakfast had plenty to eat.”

• The convenience and the staff were very friendly.
• A little more updated in the rooms.

“I enjoyed the stay the pool was not a very accessible place, however, there is not much you can do about that. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.”

• Fee-free amenities.
• Pool and spa area close too early if you're working long days like a business traveler might.

“Stayed for a week for business travel and the fee-free amenities were great. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Free continental breakfast, Internet, newspaper, fitness room, pool and Jacuzzi, and miscellaneous essential toiletries what more could you ask for to start or end your day. Rooms are average and somewhat dated, so if you're going for appearances, then you'll probably be somewhat disappointed. Location was great, next to practically everything; in between Dallas and Ft Worth with all kinds of restaurants and shopping. Great value for the price. Thanks for a nice stay, La Quinta!”

• Location was wonderful.
• Pet friendly but dog barked/whined all night next door; relocated but room smelled of wet dog! UGH!

“As stated above, we were NOT aware this was a pet friendly hotel. A dog whined/barked next to us all night, we were relocated but new room stank of wet dog! Not a good experience for us. Also, Internet access was disconnected and the help desk could not help us out. We ended up going back to original room to get proper wiring to make use of Internet in new room (lucky for us my husband is a software engineer & knew how to fix it!)”
