• Treatment and consideration of hotel staff.

“We were then placed in a sub-standard room, bathtub stopped up, AC didn't work well, etc. We have never received the items we left in the first room or even a phone call from the manager (even though we left complete information and requested a call)! They just wanted us to shut-up and go away!”

• Very nice remodel. Very comfortable. Good space for breakfast.

• Supposed to be non smoking room was smoking and made me very sick!

“This hotel is in a really bad and noisy neighborhood, the staff was not responsive and the non-smoking room was saturated with smoke.”

• It was cleaned.
• No kitchen, cable didn't work, it had two bed needed a romantic setting.

“I wanted a king size bed, kitchenette a more cozy suite. My cable didn't work front desk had an attitude. I won't be going back.”

• Poor customer service, spiders in the rooms, the housekeeping staff did not clean well.

“I would never stay at this hotel again. The manager was very rude and insinuated I was not telling the truth when I complained about spiders in the room. We had 3 rooms and all of them had spiders.”

• There is not much to be liked. This is an old run down hotel.
• This is an old run down hotel with exterior entrances and several detached buildings within the campus.

“It is old and in need of much upgrade. The age shows in the room, bathroom, furnitures and the common areas. The bed was very uncomfortable. This is the worse hotel I have gotten.”

• The breakfast buffet was better than quoted as a continental breakfast.
• The trash facilities in the buffet area were overflowing on to the floor during breakfast hours.

“The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was better than expected. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

• Location close and convenient to Baylor University.
• They overbooked and were unable to accommodate my reservation. Had to send me to another hotel.

“I have stayed at this La Quinta previously and felt good about it. When I arrived, even after calling earlier in the day and being assured that they had my reservation and would have a room for me, was told that they did not have any more rooms and they would pay for a room at another local hotel. The hotel they referred me to be okay, but not as good as my previous experience with La Quinta.”

• Complimentary continental breakfast, convenient to Baylor.
• Homeless getting ice from ice machine, common areas not as clean as I would like.

“Very convenient to Baylor university and easy to access from IH - 35. Very nice breakfast, but could have had more to offer, fruits, various cereals, etc. Overall stay was comfortable.”

• Free high speed internet.
• Right by highway and is noisy. Old property.

“This is an old property. The rooms are ok but noisy due to proximity to the freeway and cheap construction. Low quality bed linens and towels--not up to newer standards. Parking is limited close to the room. Do not like exterior entrance motel rooms due to security. Laquinta breakfast is not very good. Other hotel chains provide a better complimentary breakfast. High speed internet worked well. ”

• Prompt service and a quiet location with a good breakfast, better than most continental breakfasts.
• They need to put extra packets of cream and sugar in the rooms with coffeemakers.

“We were very pleased with out stay; it took on a minute or so to check in. We will stay in La Quintas again!”

“Overall, a good stay for the price I paid. The rooms were decent and clean. The staff was friendly. The hotel could use a little updating, and I have slept on more comfortable beds. It was great for the price I paid, and I would stay there again.”

“I am not a smoker. I requested a nonsmoking room, but was given a smoking room and the front desk would not give me a nonsmoking room. Other than this everything was great.”

“The hotel was nice, conveniently located and clean. I had a major problem upon check in. The front desk clerk was friendly but had no information about my reservation. I was transferred to a representative who spoke to the reservation clerk at the hotel. The situation was resolved. I got into my room after more than 30 minutes at the front desk trying to iron this out.”
