• Easy access to areas of attractions and friendly staff!
• Nothing. I liked it.

“The hotel was very friendly and clean. The continental breakfast was very pleasant and one of the staff members really made us feel welcome. He was very friendly and helpful and made you feel immediately at home and comfortable.”

• Good location. Clean room. Attractive lobby. Heated swimming pool and hot tub.
• Windows were dirty and curtains were ripped.

“An overall great hotel. The location is across the street from the convention center and is close to restaurants and Baylor. The free coffee in the lobby was nice and the lobby was very attractive. No free breakfast, there is a restaurant that serves meals in the lobby. I would recommend this hotel.”

• The bedding is excellent.

“Pros - Very comfortable bedding, very clean. Cons - Non-English speaking housekeeping who couldn't understand when I asked for tissues. They also forgot to replenish the coffee the second day. There were very few guests the two nights we stayed, yet the hotel chose to put us all at the far end of the hall. There were lots of noisy guests checking in very late. Makes it difficult to sleep. They would not cash my check - said I had to be a premium member, whatever that is. The guest services book says they will cash a check for all guests.”

• Coffee available in the lobby 24 hour a day!

“We had a great experience. Computers were free to use in the lobby, coffee 24/7 and they provided a great gathering place for us and our friends. Breakfast was very good.”

• Service, cleanliness, quality, it seemed run down.

“But this hotel did not deserve anything close to the 2.5 star. The staff was unhelpful. We did not get breakfast because there was a sign to wait to be seated and no staff was available to seat us. The rooms were outdated and dirty.”

• Good location. The breakfast buffet was very good and the price was very reasonable. It was my 4th stay at that hotel and I will be back.
• The room is just a little too small (square footage wise). Nice and clean--just a little small.

“This is a very clean and conveniently located hotel. They have made some upgrades and now have a nice small size bar. The breakfast buffet is very good and has a nice variety. Great hotel for the money indeed!”

• The beds were fabulous.
• The breakfast buffet was overpriced for quality we got.

“I found the courtyard by Marriott to be centrally located in Waco. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was small but adequate and the hot tub was very nice. I will definitely stay here again.”

• The staff was friendly and the room was clean.
• They shampooed the carpet and they were still wet.

“I enjoyed the stay and it was worth the price I paid. I suggest that the next time they shampoo the carpets that they wait until they're dry before renting the room.”

• Location of the hotel is perfect and the set up of the pool area is nice.
• Breakfast was terrible, cold food on buffet line and the coffee was undrinkable.

“The room was smaller than expected, however, the room was clean, bed comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. The maid woke us up at 9 am to clean the room. She should wait until at least 10 on weekends. Breakfast was not the best in Waco. The cooks were busy and told us to use the buffet line, food was cold, tried 3 times to get drinkable coffee. Not worth the money spent.”

“This hotel was by far the best one that we stayed in during our vacation. It was even better than a 4-star hotel that we stayed in the following night in downtown Austin. The location was perfect, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms actually had photos of some of the local sites. Very nice! If you are hungry, and want a laid back atmosphere, visit Crickets. It's just a short walk from the hotel, and it accommodates all age groups.”

• Building with lobby and elevator made it more secure. Also it was off the main highway which also adds to security.
• Room was not that large.
