• The desk clerk changed our room locations to our need.

• This hotel is located near the UNT campus.
• This hotel is poorly maintained and isn't very clean.

“This was probably a nice hotel when it was brand new (it looks like it was built within the past 5-10 years), but whoever is managing it now doesn't seem very concerned about the property's upkeep. The wallpaper in our room was peeling, the carpet was frayed, there were chunks of grout missing in the bathroom and there was a sprinkler head poking out of the ceiling over our bed. In the lobby, some of the wall sconces didn't have shades and there were just wires and bare bulbs. There were also several lights burned out in the parking lot which could present a safety issue at night. Everywhere I looked, I got the sense that the maids and the maintenance staff were just doing the bare minimum. The pool is indoors, but the pool room is extremely muggy and uncomfortable. The room's dehumidifier has been broken for a couple of years and the management is too cheap to have it fixed. There were also bugs everywhere. I saw some very large cockroaches in one of the downstairs hallways and there were some smaller bugs in our bathroom sink. The breakfast bar is pretty sparse. The only hot foods they serve are premade scrambled eggs that come in little round disks that need to be thawed out, sausage patties that look like something that you'd find at McDonalds and stale biscuits. There are also donuts, cereal and oatmeal. None of it really looked very appetizing. Most of the tables and countertops were sticky. You'd probably be better off going out to eat - you'd have more variety and it would be cleaner. The hotel offers free WiFi access, but they don't have a real business center (with computers, printers, etc.) available for guests to use. What they call a business center basically consists of a fax machine, a copy machine and a telephone in the lobby. All of the equipment looks really old and clunky. I guess that I just expected something better. This place really isn't that much nicer than a Motel 6 or a Super 8.”

• The room was great, the bed was heaven.
• We had 5 pillows, but it was more like 2, the pillows were small and too soft.

“Great stay, the room was great, easy high way access. The continental breakfast was good.”

• Recently remodeled, much improved from 1 year ago.
• Could never get the select comfort bed to be comfortable for me or my wife.

“Great facilities for business meetings. Food is good. Too high priced for the facility, group rates for a group as large as ours was still lower for a five-six night stay. They have vastly improved over last year when it was an out and out rat trap. The area surrounding this facility is somewhat older and run-down, but it appears that with the rejuvenation of this hotel that the mall next door is also improving its appearance.”

• Conveniently located to University of North Texas.
• Carpet was worn/torn.

“The room was large and adequately furnished although not a true suite. We just needed a bed so the room amenities were not important to us. Our stay was fine but I expected slightly better grade of hotel for what we paid.”

• Most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in in years!
• A/C unit was a bit too loud.

“Excellent value and location for our visit to UNT. Check-in and check-out was quick and efficient. Staff could not have been more helpful giving directions to locations in town. Breakfast was a nice bonus and well done. I will definitely try to stay here again.”
