• Staff was accomodating.
• Did not meet LaQuinta's standards.

“The staff was so nice and very accommodating and they should get credit for that. The public areas were dirty, the breakfast was lacking, and coffee machine in our room was broken. We were just disappointed in the continental breakfast. There was not much there no fruit, only two cereal choices and everything else was in a wrapper. Just not very many options. Frustrating especially with small kids.”

• Location, quite area, quality of room.
• Maid service inadequate, front desk unprofessional.

“We loved the location, quite, safe, and good amenities. Problem was they didn't clean our room two of five days and front desk was unhelpful. Plain and simple response Wow they never miss rooms. And second day They must have run out of time and atleast they left you clean linens to finish making bed yourself.”

• Loved that they had extra pillows on the beds and also that the beds were not hard as boards!
• Needs more TV channels.

• The room smelled bad. Hotel too close to the highway. The traffic was very loud.

“We would not stay at this hotel again. The doors were facing the street which allowed the noise from people passing by and the traffic on the highway to sound very loud in the room. Our room was also underneath the stairwell which forced us to hear people walking up and down the stairs.”

• The breakfast was good.
• Too many to put here!

“My bath tub had water just under the surface which made me sea sick when I took a bath. I told the staff about it and they said it would be taken care of, it never was. Then one day the room cleaner's did not clean two of our room's, we had 6. Our rooms were not cleaned properly at all. The towel holder in our room was broken on one side. Some stuff was not replaced like tissue's, towel's! There was some crud on the wall's in our room that was never cleaned! The tub in my sister's room was running the whole time, not just leaking, but running loudly! The ice machine's did not work, only the first floor one did, we were on the third floor. The TVs were ancient, the channels on the TV were no good, they had very few channels! The elevator's were too slow it was faster to climb all those stairs! The only thing that we liked was breakfast, the staff was courteous regardless of all the thing's that were wrong! Thank you!”

• They cleaned our rooms everyday without hassle and they have a nice pool for the kids.
• It was not close to a nice beach It took about 20 minutes to get anywhere good.

“The staff at the hotel were very friendly. By the time we got back from the beach everyday our room was very clean. No matter how much sand was in the tub they had it spotless! The pool was clean and fun for the kids. The only downside to this hotel was it was a 15-20 minute drive to the beach every day. But, overall, it was worth it!”

• Mold on bathroom walls, stunk, toilet didn't flush, iron didn't work, lobby door didn't work with room key.

“I was very disappointed with this hotel. I have always thought of LaQuinta as a 3-4 star motel that always had nice rooms and accommodations. This was not the case. I will never stay in that hotel again.”

• Courteous staff, from the receptionist to the cleaning staff.
• Restroom - tub looked old and cracked, could smell in the restroom the cigarette from the room above.

“Other than the restroom, I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly, especially housekeeping. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends, coworkers, and family.”

• Close to Padre Island.
• Number of pets at hotel. Room not clean. Staff rude and unresponsive.

“When we arrived we were given a room with no light in the bathroom. So we had to move to another room. The room we were placed in had dirty walls, paper under the bed from previous guest, bathroom toilet dirty. Our room did not get cleaned until 6:17 p.m. that Monday afternoon. Then the housekeeper was rude and had the nerve to tell me she has had to clean 28 rooms already as if that mattered to me. We would call front desk and no one answered two different times. Very bad experience, will never stay there again.”

• The A/C was extremely cold which was very nice in Texas weather. The beds were comfy.
• The room smelt of smoke even though we were in a non-smoking room.

It's on a one way access road so getting back the other way takes a while because you have to make a big loop. Otherwise, it's in a central location. The room smelt of smoke even though we were in a non-smoking room. In the morning you can hear the maids yelling at each other which is kind of annoying if you want to sleep in. For the price, it was great. We would stay there again.”

“With all the problems with the room the staff wouldn't change rooms for us. The room smelled like mildew, bathroom was dirty and couldn't send anyone to come clean it. My bath towel had dirt on it, saw two insects, possible cockroaches. The lobby was transformed into breakfast area and was a mess when we arrived for breakfast, food and dirt everywhere”

• It was a place to sleep and shower. The staff was friendly.
• With the exception of the friendly staff there wasn't much I liked about the hotel

“Our room was on the third floor. The elevator rocked and rolled so bad and was so slow we choose to walk up and down the stairs rather than risk our lives in it. In our key holder there was a warning from the Corpus Christi police telling us that due to the high number of break ins don't leave anything in your car. Needless to say my family and I were walking up and down the stairs for almost 20 minutes unloading our van and then we had to reverse the procedure when it was time for us to leave. The mattresses were totally worn out, the sink was plugged, there was mold all over the bathroom walls surrounding the tub and toilet and the bathtub felt as though there was a cushion of water between what appeared to be a tub liner and the tub itself. Very unsafe.”
