• Great proximity to city's beach attractions
• Room was bare bones. Good place to sleep, but not much else

“Room was bare bones. Good place to sleep, but not much else. 1 chair they had on patio was broken. If you just need is a bed to sleep in for the night, it's great. Good view of the bay too.”

• Location.
• A/C wouldn't cool the room & the front desk lady was not friendly at all, down right snotty!

“The drapes and sofa were falling apart and stained. There were cigarette burns on sink and bathtub. The A/C wouldn't cool the room during the day, we had to buy a fan. My husband was upset that they didn't have a coffee maker in the room. The front desk lady was very unfriendly. We will never stay at a Knights Inn again!”

• I liked the location.
• The sheets were okay, but the blanket had
  spots on it.

“I thought everything was okay until I looked at the blanket and found dried stain on it. Plus the toilet clogged.”

• Stated wireless Internet but the connection would be interrupted every five minutes. The breakfast was two choices of cereal and coffee. Not much.

“It was not extremely clean. Backed-up tub. Toilet hard to flush. Stairs-only so any person who is handi-caped could not room here. The breakfast is only two kinds of cereal and some pastry. Juice and milk must be poured out of a jug by oneself. Towels very rough and they forgot to put new towels in our room.”

• It was very small, the insects were in abundance, and the insides were not very well maintained. The air-condition vent was kept falling out of the wall.

“We started to not stay there but it was only for one night. The linen looked very used although it was clean.”

• Room was not big enough for small children to have room to play, tub and sink didn't have stoppers.

“Great location and fun for one night, but couldn't have stayed more than that. If you don't plan to do anything but sleep in the room this is perfect.”

• It's location near the beach is absolutely fantastic for the price.
• Check-in times.

“When I arrived at the hotel's lobby, I was greeted by an individual from India who was both courteous and attentive. He didn't mind engaging me in small conversations about who I was or where I came from. The lobby has a 'professional environment feel' giving me the impression that it is properly maintained on a daily basis. The furniture is beautiful and sophisticated. Checking-in: I told him I would be checking in; however, I wasn't allowed to check-in nor was I allowed to go to my hotel room. He said I couldn't check-in because the rooms were still being cleaned and that the check-in time was two o'clock. I had no choice but to wait two hours until the proper check-in time. I was permitted to use the swimming pool and leave my things in the lobby until two o'clock. (I arrived at 12:00 PM.) I didn't argue with the gentlemen nor did I complain about the check-in time. I didn't mind because I was allowed to do something during my little wait. However, half-an-hour before two o'clock, I asked him again if I could check-in. He gave me the okay and I strolled to my room with card and luggage in hand. I was relieved to have a room after a very long trip. I encountered difficulties with unlocking my door (probably because of its overuse with so many vacationers). For five minutes I attempted to unlock it. In the end, I managed to devise a method in unlocking my room. Basically the lobby is nice and the people who work there are kind and helpful. The doors to the hotel rooms are old and difficult to open, but after some practice you'll get the hang of it. Its location is fantastic and its price is very reasonable (compared to those nearby hotels). I stayed one night and had an enjoyable experience. The rooms were surprisingly clean and the people there very kind and open. If I ever decide to have a vacation in Corpus Christi again, I'll be sure to stay at this hotel.”

• We loved it because it was on the beach which my grandkids loved.
• The hotel was on stilts. But I guess that's the way they are by the beach.

“This hotel was great because it was on the beach. It has a great view of the ocean and my grandchildren loved the whole experience.”

• Room was made up every time we left.
• Pool was extremely dirty, never cleaned, during our stay.

“The hotel was a good location, however the pool area was extremely dirty, although was asked for an immediate clean up it never happed. The room was cleaned everyday we left. the staff kind of scary! Not very talkative.”

• No extra cot, no extra blankets, pillows or towels.

“We called ahead to let hotel know that we would be arriving early in the morning and asked if the room would be available, clerk replied that we would be able to check in at 1:00 a.m. When we arrived I was informed by the rude clerk that the hotel was booked, so the whole family, 2 adults 5 children, stayed on the beach. Got to the room to find no room for a cot, hotel was informed of the 7 people staying, only 2 towels. When we went for extras they gave us 1 blanket, 3 towels. The next day when we arrived back from our day out they did not even clean the room, no exchange of towels, no bedding changed, didnt even take out the trash. Now I can understand that my party was a little large for the room but the least they could have done was provide enough towels and spare bedding. Not to mention the cleaning of the room which was just unbelievable. I was planning on using your services for a future trip this summer, I have changed my mind.”

• Clean, the staff was courteous and helpful.

“I really enjoyed the weekend we spent in corpus. The motel was 1 block from the beach, a 5 minute walk from the Lexington. The room was small, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in answering questions and showing me how to use the ice machine. My grandchildren really enjoyed the pool and the ocean. We had a great time thanks to the location of the motel. For the price, I feel we got a great bargain.”

• It was very close to the beach.
• The rooms were very outdated and looked much worn.

“Overall this hotel was pretty nice. The rooms were small (but not too small) but they were clean. However, the curtains were all torn up and a lot of the furniture was worn. ”

• It was close to the beach.
• Very poor security in bad area of town.

“I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any one its in a bad part of town and hotel does not provide any type of security. My Vehicle was broken into during my stay, about 700 dollars in merchandise was stolen like radio, digital camera, tool set, clothes money, Laptop computer and other small stuff, also 400 dollars in damages to my vehicle busted lock, paint and dent damage to the door and a broken dash board. The person in charge of the hotel did not take any interest or offer to do any thing all I was told is that they are not responsible and all I could was make a police report. I spoke to some of the hotel employees and I was told there plenty of cars that have gotten broken into but the people in charge have not done anything to help fix the problem. This why I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.”
