• Nice Lobby, Great front desk staff.
• Outdated restroom, dirty towels.

“The only room available online was a smoking room. The Lady at the desk went out of the way to find a smoker that was in a non smoking room and switched us (prior to checkin for both. The room and restroom was somewhat outdated.”

• I liked the location.
• The rooms were dirty and hot.

“When we arrived we checked in and the front desk was not that friendly. Our room was very warm. After several hours our room was still hot and the fridge didn't work. The rooms were not cleaned well the balcony was even nasty. We were told that we could change rooms to the coldest room they had. It was still warm and not very clean and if we had not prepaid we would have changed hotels. We felt like they charged too much for the quality of the rooms.”

• Fresh fluffy waffles in the shape of the state of Texas for breakfast was fantastic.
• There was nothing I did not like.

“The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for our family with a view of the beach and a back door for beach access. We loved the continental breakfast. The grounds were neat and clean.”

“Except for some unexpected little guest and the front desk man that only said "last name? sign here", it was a nice location and a good continental breakfast.”

• Real close to Aquarium and Lexington.
• Rooms are not in the greatest shape.

“Great location at a good price with a nice pool and direct access to the beach. You can walk to the USS Lexington and aquarium.”

• Air conditioner not cold enough.

“Price was too high for the room and the 2nd floor it was not good because the people on the bottom stated to bar while we were sitting out side the balcony and we were getting all the smoke and they were very loud you could not even talk.”

• On beach nice pool.
• Dirty, smells like smoke, outdated, unfriendly staff.

“This hotel was by far the most awful hotel I have ever stayed in. It is not a place for children or anyone of that matter unless you plan on sleeping outside on the beach or in the pool area which is cleaner. The rooms are dirty, the beds are hard, the hotel is hot, outdated and smells of smoke. Not to mention the staff is very unhelpful and unfriendly. For the price of this hotel you are better off staying inland in something nice and driving to the beach. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that I know.”

• Close to the beach.
• Vending machines were empty.

“Was a great getaway. Staff was friendly, clean room. Beach was a little dirty from the past storm but the pool was clean and inviting. Restaurants were close by. All in all, no complaints except the vending machines need to be filled more than once a day. Hot weather, out of water.”

• Location was great. We were walking distance to everything.
• The bathroom was dirty, but the room was clean.

“We had a great time with our kids. The hotel is on the beach and the pool was great for even our 1 year old. We were walking distance to food, Lexington, and the TSA. The only problem was the bathroom had not been cleaned. The rest of the room was nice with a view.”

• Right on the beach & close to attractions!
• Double room & beds were small, the vending machines wouldn't work.

“Pool was nice. You can walk out your room and be on the beach or walking distance for shopping & attractions. Not much driving for other attractions. Good parking unless you showed up later in the day and then you had to park wherever. For the most part we had a great stay!”

• The hotel was close to the beach, Texas state aquarium and the Lexington.
• Rooms were in poor condition, breakfast was unsanitary, pool water was over-chlorinated.

“Rooms were apparently used one too many times by spring breakers. Rooms small and mattresses uncomfortable. Unsure if bed linen had been washed. Continental breakfast consisted of 15 minute wait for waffles and coffee.”

• I liked the easy access to the pool and beach.
• First room had a poor smell, but hotel moved us to another room.

“Overall the hotel was good. Children liked the pool and the beach. Breakfast was nice each morning. Some of the parking was tight because of poor parking by other hotel patrons.”
