• Asked to use towels, as many times as we can, Air Conditioner was hot! It was 104 outside!!!

“Front office staff needs training on customer service, paying more attn to own staff than customers. Asked about air conditioner. too hot in room, said they would fix it, never did. Asked for more towels told us to use them again & hang them to dry, they did not have towels would look for some. Charge 40.00 for a roll away bed. Parking is bad.”

• The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working

• The location was great. The beach was right out the back door with a well maintained deck.
• Outdated and not so clean common areas.

“Nice place to stay for the weekend if you're planning on spending most of your time on the beach. The facilities/common areas were outdated and in great need of repair and replacing. The carpet throughout the hotel was dirty and damp. The halls were hot and humid and I didn't appreciate having to fill out and sign paperwork in order to use 2 towels at the pool. But the room was clean, it had a nice shower and new mattresses. The best part of the hotel is the location and the large wooden deck on the back overlooking the water.”

• Nice clean beach directly behind hotel. Easy to get to and exit and close to city activities.
• Room AC was very noisy and hall AC unit was dripping water down wall, made me concerned with mold or worse.

“Typical hotel with Hoilidome. Great access to beach. Beach was cleaned before the beginning of each day. There is a charge for chairs and umbrellas plus for kids to jump on the floating trampoline. But not too expensive.”

• The staff was helpful and friendly. Parking lot was well lit up. It was quiet and overall very clean.
• More family orientated than I expected.

“This is a great hotel for families. The restaraunt service could be improved. We enjoyed it ok but prefer a condo type property for a visit to the area.”

• The security officer assisted me with a problem on the floor.
• Nothing.

“Fun place to stay. The private beach is terrific and the indoor pool is large and well designed for a public area. All needs are available in the hotel.”

• I like this hotel because it has a lot to offer. There is swimming pool, pool, games, workout gym, beach, and downtown is just a few blocks away.
• Only thing I didn't like was when I order my food, it took to long.

“If looking for a hotel, I say this is the place, you'll get your $'s worth.”

• Allowed our dog to stay.
• Smoking floor-trash in hallway all day.

“Friendly, helpful staff. Location on the bay front in the middle of all downtown activities is great. Summer island atmosphere on the beach with outdoor bar. However, parking is limited at the hotel. The rooms are typical and adequate.”

• The staff and management team are awesome. I would stay here every time I visit Corpus.
• The fight between the two kitchen staff in the dinning area.

• I was very impressed with the bar on the beach front property.
• I was informed the hotel had wireless internet. I was unable to gain access to the WEB.

“The purpose for my trip was solely for relaxation with my wife and no kids. After reading the reviews for this establishment I was skeptic on the quality of the hotel, but my reservations were quickly put to rest with the service, cleanliness, and location of this hotel. This is a family oriented establishment, so if you have problems with kids, I recommend another hotel. We truly enjoyed ourselves and I would recommend this hotel to any one looking to relax and drink a beer.”

• Noisy halls and guests, not soundproof, inattentive staff.

“Hotel has a good location on seafront. It is old and not so clean. Rooms are noisy with little sound proofing from hall and other rooms. Staff was not up to expected.”
