• The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful.
• Kids eating popcorn in hot tub and you have to pay for internet.

“This was a nice hotel. Unfortunately for us it was family night at the pool. There were kids everywhere, kids were eating popcorn in the hot tub, screaming, etc. Not what I was wanting when I wanted to hang out by the pool at 8:00 pm. You have to pay extra money for a lot of amenities. The business center is $8 for 15 minutes of usage. Parking is an extra $7 per day. Overall, the hotel is nice and in a great location. Just a little pricey for what you get.”

“The check in time is 3:00 pm, but the room was not available until after 5:00 pm. This destroyed our entire weekend schedule and plan. The hotel was way understaffed and could not handle the workload. Although the staff realized we were inconvenienced by their lack of timeliness, they were not willing to make any amends.”

• Proximity to marina and restaurants.
• Amenities were a little less than expected.

“The rooms and some amenities (including the pool) were something you would find in a 2 star motel in most larger cities. I've been in nicer La Quinta's and paid a lot less.”

• They had some children activities. Waterfront and restaurants within walking distance.
• No refrigerator which you need when traveling with children. Pool was not as heated. Had to pay for parking along with taxes.

“Hotel was clean and attractive. Beautifully landscaped outside. Great people working there, willing to help with anything. Rooms were nice and great view. Comfortable beds, with super nice and fluffy pillows. Was very comfortable and larger TV.”

• It has a great view of the bay. It is close to everything.

• Beautiful view/good location.
• Too few bell staff and valet took too long when arriving.

“Both Omni's in Corpus Christi are in a league of their own in comparison to all other hotels in Corpus. If you are used to 4 star hotels, anything but the Omni hotels would be a disappointment.”

• The bed had nice linens and was comfortable; location is great.
• Hotel is outdated and in need of renovation.

“Hotel is in a great location, sadly this is the only good thing about it. The lobby, elevators, halls are all extremely outdated. The bed had nice linens and was comfortable, but the rest of the room was just okay. The bathroom was extremely outdated, definitely hasn't been redone since 1986. Overall, I was expecting more from an Omni hotel.”

  not a regular full size. The whole hotel seemed a little dingy.

• The location is very good, and the staff is helpful.
• We were not able to walk onto the balcony to view the bay, the bathtub grout was moldy in spots and the bed was not comfortable.

“On the plus side, the location of the hotel is great, the staff is helpful, and parking rates are reasonable. The bed was not very comfortable though, and the bathroom was small. The shower grout was moldy in spots. I was also very disappointed to discover that while we had a balcony view of the bay, we were not allowed to walk out onto our balcony.”

• Would like to have had larger rooms.

“Hotel is one of the nicer ones in Corpus, everyone from the front desk to the cleaning personnel where very nice and helpful. Recommend and will keep in mind when going back to Corpus.”

• Very clean and up market hotel with very nice room amenities. Staff was quick to help too.
• There was a charge for car parking even though this is not a very busy hotel and also they had lots of parking available.

“I loved this hotel. Very family friendly. Staff is very eager to help at the same time. There is also a very nice swimming pool and fitness center which we did not go to. Rooms are very nicely equipped. Also loved their in-room Wolfgang Puck coffee sachets. For some reason they only give 2 creamers for a 4 cup coffee sachets. My only complaint is that there was a separate $5 car parking charge per day which they need not add.”
