  • Excellent location for sightseeing in Norman, Guthrie, OKC. Several restaurant nearby.
  • Housekeeping twice "forgot" to service my room. Outdoor corridors. Chilly trips for breakfast or ice. Big time traffic and construction noise.

“Large room could have accommodated a refrigerator and microwave but none provided. Every sound from adjoining rooms can be heard clearly. Comfortable mattress on one bed but the other was old, worn, and spongy. Friendly, helpful staff.”

  • Clean room.
  • Everything was great.

“The hotel was clean, bedding was clean, tub and surround were spotless, plenty of towels and a great continental breakfast. We travel frequently and that is the best breakfast (waffles) we have had anywhere!”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[6] • Location:[8]

  • Our room was located underneath an outside walkway next to the ice machine.

“It was clean enough but just looked tacky. The doors are all on the outside of the building and they didn't seem very secure. The front desk clerk was snippy when I checked in.”

  • I liked that it had high speed internet.
  • I did not like that it had outside doors instead of enclosed hallways.

“The people at the hotel were very friendly and cooperative. It was clean and tidy. I wish it had enclosed hallways, instead of an outside walkway to the rooms. It has high speed internet.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[9] • Location:[5]

  • It was clean.
  • The floor of the room was uneven and the drains were slow.

“The desk clerk was extra pleasant. We skipped the continental breakfast, but the in room coffee was better than some we've had. Most edifying was the information that La Quinta is Spanish for high speed internet. We'll give that a try the next time we're in Cabo.”

  • I liked the easy access from parking to room.
  • There was nothing that I did not like .

“The hotel was nice and clean. Even the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed having it close to the freeway/interstate.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[5] • Location:[8]

  • It was clean, and it did have a data port in the room.
  • They needed more staff.

“The rooms and beds were very small. I was expecting more...something better. There was only one staff person at the desk who had too much to do. The hotel was overloaded with people. Despite my reservations, we had to wait for a room due to a bus load of people who had come in earlier. Thus, when we arrived, there weren't any rooms available that were clean and ready. I was there for business and we needed to change clothes. They only had one bathroom.”

“The hotel has a free breakfast and is located next to the inerstate. But, I aways feel that its the only hotel that I did not get the better end of the deal.”

“Check in was smooth and swift, but the girl that checked us in could not accommodate our request for a king bed. When we arrived in our room, we found someone else's stockings under the bed (ew). The beds were a little too firm and left our backs sore. Apart from that, the room was just fine; I would have ranked it as a one-star motel though.”

“La Quinta is a basic motel, three stories with doors on the outside. The breakfast is adequate (juice, fruit, two kinds of cereal, waffles, toast, and danish) although nothing spectacular. The check in / checkout staff were polite. Unfortunately I was unable to switch from a 2 double beds to a king bed. Other hotels have allowed the switch. Hotel is convenient to several highways and basic shopping.”

“For starters, we got there late, but keep in mind we were a guaranteed late check in and the room was prepaid for two nights. My wife is in a wheelchair, so I called the hotel direct and requested a handicapped room, they said no problem what so ever they would have us the room we requested. When we arrived around midnight, guess what NO ROOM, they had given our room to someone else, but they did have one on the second floor. We had no choice but to take it. Needless to say, this made it a little hard on us! My wife got ready to go to bed and we found hair on the sheets, which can only mean they did not change the sheets. We went to Wal-Mart and bought a set of sheets. My wife as well as myself were totally grossed out. We drove 4 hours to go to a wedding, then back an hour to the hotel. It was a little late at this point to be looking for a hotel to go to. My wife got up in the middle of the night to use the restroom, only to find roaches in the bathroom. The next day the hotel said they would try to get us another room, because we were to stay another night. Around 9:30 my wife heard the door trying to be opened, mind you this is well before checkout time and besides we were told to stay put until they could get us the room we had requested. The door suddenly opened, it was the maid no knock at the door or anything. My wife was standing there with her walker half dressed going into the bathroom. I don't think I need to say more, NO we were not happy nor will we ever stay at that hotel again. The people at the front desk never seemed to know what was going on, or what the other person had said or done to try and remedy the situation.”

“For the quality I expected from a La Quinta Inn, I was greatly disappointed in this property. On the same trip, I stayed at a Motel 6 in St. Louis that was a step up from this place! For the price I paid, I was extremely disappointed. The rooms were borderline disgusting; and the attendant at the desk was less than thrilled to see us. Lucky for us - they were kind enough to place us in the rooms right next to the pool with screaming kids and parents; right along the highway. When we left to go to dinner and seek seclusion from the yelling, we drove around to the other side of the property to see very few cars outside of the rooms; while our side was packed. For this being a three-star property, I was extremely disappointed.”

“The hotel was very mediocre. The free breakfast was a basic continental. No internet service available, been in La Quintas that have it, but they didn't. Just a so-so place to stay.”
