• Comfortable and great view.
• Sink was dirty when we checked in and our wake up call came 15 minutes late.

“Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel and room was beautiful and comfortable. View of city was beautiful. Nice place to stay.”

• Good location and the staff was very responsive to our needs.
• TV didn't work in our room, but it was quickly (30 minutes) replaced.

“The hotel met our needs perfectly during our travels. It allowed us quick access to downtown (12 minutes) and was well managed. The room was adequate and clean. I would recommend it.”

• It had some of the older things we were used to years ago, small but trimmed in wood elevator.
• Nothing, I like it.

• Fast, friendly service.
• The hair-dryer in the room did not work properly.

“This hotel is under-going some construction and has some minor inconveniences, but they made up for it by friendly, fast service. The room was nice, clean and quiet.”

• This is a very nice conference hotel. The staff are helpful.
• This hotel is still trying to work out a few "kinks."

“This is a great hotel that has been recently remodeled. They are still trying to work out a few "kinks." For example, our room key didn't work twice during our stay, and the room was without a remote control. However, the staff quickly fixed both of these problems. It took the room awhile to cool down because we were on a side that gets a lot of sun during the day. It is a very nice hotel, though, and is worth the stay. I feel that, over time, the "kinks" will be smoothed out.”

• The head board fell on my partners head.

“The hotel is nice. Overall not bad. The head board fell on my partner during our stay. We were moved to another room. They gave us some free meals for our trouble.”

• Excellent mattress.
• My room service breakfast was never delivered, although they packed me a to-go bag.

“Lovely building, very comfortable room. I was very disappointed in that my room service breakfast never arrived. I had to leave for my meeting and the staff packed me a to-go bag, but that was less than the professional image I needed to convey.”

• The lobby was very attractive, and the front desk personnel upon check-in were courteous.
• Noisy construction, dirty bathroom, old and in need of serious remodel.

“We were very disappointed. When we told the employee at the front desk the problems we had with our room, she seemed disinterested and didn't even offer an apology.”

• Great location.
• Room did not seem finished.

“The room had been recently renovated and for the most part was very nice - granite sink and shower, cathedral ceiling, nice bedding. However, the closet door was missing. Also, there was only one sink with a very long vanity and the bathroom was extremely small. There really was hardly any room for the commode in the bathroom - it was up against the shower and don't sit before you close the door or you won't be able to close it.”

• I really love the decor.
• In our room, one of the sitting chairs in the corner had a stain on the seat and didn't look very inviting.

• The hotel is in a central location, easy to find off of a major road.
• Pool is outdoor and seasonal.

“This hotel is under renovation. The room we stayed in was clean and roomy. We were given a king-sized bed with plenty of pillows. The free wireless internet access worked great. There remains some construction, which makes the place feel a bit busy. I would return here again.”

• The price was good.
• Had a loud party until after midnight! Not the cleanest.

3 star. I have stayed in better 2.5 star hotels in the same town.
If you have the option, stay down the road at a different 3 star. There was a Quinceanera party in the hotel that played thumping, loud music until after 12 midnight, and the hotel did nothing even after I heard many people complain to the front desk, including myself. Also, it was renovated, but you could still tell it was an older hotel covered up with new paint.”

• I enjoyed the pool and the free cookies.
• Room had crickets, lots of construction going on.

“This hotel was fine. It wasn't fantastic, and it wasn't a 3-star hotel. There are a lot of renovations going on. We listened to a jack hammer at 9:00 in the evening. Then, someone knocked on our door at 9:30 p.m. to let us know that they would be making some noise while they did routine maintenance. Really? More than the jackhammer? Since we have very young kids that were trying to sleep, we were annoyed. Liked the sleep extras and the rooms were very new. We had a cricket in our bed, however and some bugs in the shower that I removed before stepping in. I think this was because our room was near to poolside, and the door faced outside. Overall, not terrible, but the noise and the bugs really turned us off.”

• Poor execution of remodeling.

“This is an older hotel that was previously a Hilton. The remodeling of the rooms was done poorly. The attempt at freshening the bathroom was sad. The attempt to refinish the tub and tile area looked like it belonged in a repossessed mobile home. There is no reason this hotel should be three star.”
