• The price was good.
• Wasn't as clean as it should have been.

“The room we stayed in was at the very back of the hotel and had a outside entrance to the room the lock on the window was broke, my husband looked out the window around midnight and saw a large group of people(not very friendly looking one)hanging around outside.”

• New mattresses
• Old mattresses stacked up around grounds.

“It was a decent hotel. We had two rooms. One had a microwave and fridge, the other did not. Lock on adjoining door did not work. Did have a the safety latch, so if that was done, people next door couldn't get inside, but could peek. Didn't feel safe parking my convertible in back where our room was located.”

• Easy excess to highway, shopping and assorted restaurants.
• Pillows were stone hard.

“Enjoyed the overall stay and have a great breakfast bar. I would stay here again. Great courtyard for the summer fun.”

“The staff was good, the room was hot and air didn't work. The door was hard to close and open as it looked like it had been broken into.”

• The inside rooms were very clean and comfortable and cozy.
• The outside room are dirty and infected with crickets.

“Again the outside rooms were dirty with hair in the beds. Floors were dirty with mud holding an off odor of musty scent. However when they moved us into the inside rooms, those rooms were well maintained, clean, fresh smelling and comfortable. I would visit again as long as it was the inside rooms that was available.”

• Nice hotel for the price. Convenient to restaurants. Free breakfast.
• There was nothing that I disliked about this hotel.

“This hotel is conveniently located to the airport, restaurants, and I-40. There's a nice comfortable lobby with a big screen TV. The free breakfast includes make your own waffles. The rooms are basic, clean motel type rooms. Nothing special but very functional and in good condition.”

• The restaurant had food that was decent enough.
• There were no towels in my room.

“It was close to the airport and interstate, and inexpensive. There were no towels in my room, there were no trash can liners in any of the cans in my room, the microwave turntable was missing, there was not a pen or paper at all, the pool was closed for resurfacing which made it hard to navigate the public areas due to the pool area being taped off, the yogurt at the continental breakfast was not refrigerated or iced so that the foil lid was bulging as if it were ready to explode with bacteria or something.”

• It's location and distance to the airport.
• Needs more electrical sockets for plugging in/charging laptops, phones, etc.

“It was perfect for what I needed. A clean place to sleep near the airport. The things I didn't like were the lack of sockets to plug in my laptop, and iphone. The edge of the tub had what looked like cigarette burns so the room was a smoking room at one time. Replace the tub for crying out loud. The lack of waste baskets. It seemed odd that there was only two waste baskets in the room and they were not easily accessible. The other weird thing was Ikea'esque' wardrobe without doors (at least put doors on the thing).”

• Under renovation; room, although recently refurbished, did not seem finished - door was hard to close and lock!

• Nice pool area.
• Not clean, and noisy.

“The room was not clean and a bit shabby, but the pool and courtyard area was nice. We were awakened at 7:00 AM by a very loud trash truck right outside our door and the room itself was not at all quiet. I feel that this hotel does not deserve a 2 star rating and would not recommend it.”

• The desk staff was friendly and competent.
• The room wasn't clean, there were dirty socks left by one of the beds.

“If the rooms were cleaned well, it would be a better place to stay, it had nice facilities otherwise.”

• The beds were comfortable.
• I was given 4 different price quotes. I had to make my own bed, Trash was never removed. Also had to ask for towels twice.

“I thought the beds were comfortable, but they never came and made them. I had to ask for clean towels twice and finally went and got some on my own. It is frustrating to have to make your own bed when you are paying for a room.”

• The staff was courteous, friendly and tried their best to be helpful.
• The lack of cleanliness in our room, the noise level, the lack of even the most basic things.

“We stay an overnight prior to an early flight and arrived at the hotel late evening. Our room was located inside next to the lobby. There were no washrags or coffee pot in our room. The staff located a coffee pot for us but there were no washrags to be found. When we pulled the bedspread back the sheets were stained with coffee and it appeared that they had not been changed. The dining facilities and bar were located in the lobby and we heard loud noise into the wee hours of morning. All in all it was a very unpleasant experience. We learned that it would be better to pay more and know what we are getting.”

“This was a 1 star motel that has added a coffee maker to the rooms and a front lobby with a few interior rooms and a continental breakfast area. The beds where sprung, the carpets were dirty, there was mold in the air conditioning vents, the grounds where either dirt or concrete and it looked like some people where living there. It reminded me of tenements. Several of the fire pulls at the open stair wells had been pulled, but since there was no alarm, I guess they had been deactivated. This place would not have passed a fire inspection the night I was there. There is a martini bar attached to the lobby. It is full of seedy characters smoking, pack after pack, while pulling one liners in the corner or shooting pool. If you like to smell stale smoke and old beer while listening to drunks screaming obscenities and wondering if a bar fight is about to erupt, then this is the place for you.”

“Our room was at the back of the hotel next to the trash dumpsters and employee break room. We had employee children running around during the day and the waste removal service woke us up when taking away trash the next morning. It appears that LaQuinta has put money in the exterior frontage and lobby that could have been better spent improving overall accommodations. I stay at LaQuinta hotels frequently and this is one I will avoid in the future.”

“Room was very dirty with stained and dirty carpet, dead and alive bugs on floor. No hot water for showers and the smoke detectors were missing. Very bad experience, with the only good thing being the breakfast.”
