“This hotel was better than expected. We thought we were getting a one star but it was more like a 2.5 star.”

• The staff was extremely helpful to me when I needed information.
• The toilet stopped up and the shower curtain rod broke.

“My stay was enjoyable. The staff treated me with such courtesy and responded quickly and kindly whenever I expressed concern about any situation. I enjoyed having breakfast available. It was convenient and cost effective. I would definitely stay at this location again.”

• Good bed and pillows, great night sleep.
• Alarm went off at bar across the street at 3:30 am.

“Good location near airport, ten minutes to downtown, shops and restaurants close by and great matresses and pillows, real comfortable.”

• Price and right off interstate next to diners.
• Doors didn't seem secure at all, remodel was done cheaply.

“Not a lot of bang for the buck, but I didn't spend much anyways. Go with it if all you want is a place to lie over at.”

• The man at the front desk was friendly.
• It was not clean and the upkeep at the hotel was not good.

“Cannot believe that you would put someone up in a smoking room with all the proven data about smoking and cancer. My sister died of Cancer 2 years ago In March. You need to change your policy and put people in nonsmoking rooms. If someone prefers to ignore the risk of smoking and cancer let them call the hotel and request a smoking room. The motel was not up to 2 star quality. The tile in the bathroom was put in by someone that did not know what they were doing. Some of the grime on the tile was painted over with white paint. When you turned on the bathtub the water came out of the shower. When I pulled up on the shut off to shut the shower off it was not connected to anything. Very poor experience.”

• Good TV channel selection (speed channel).
• Deadbolt worked but not the other lock.

“We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay that was clean, comfortable, safe, good parking, convenient to interstate. This motel met those needs. It is not fancy but what do you expect for the $.”

• The desk clerk friendly and tried to be helpful.
• Everything else.

“Very disappointing. Was to have been a two star property. Checked in at the front desk, went to the room and immediately checked out. Unsafe location, shares parking lot with a rowdy night club. Dead bolt would not lock. Questionable characters loitering in hotel lobby. Manager out of country.”

• Run by a family. Very friendly.
• Pool needed cleaning.

“This hotel is still undergoing repair and renovation. There were bugs on the floor in the room. Multiple electrical cords plugged in to extension cords (fire safety?).”

“I was scared for my life. Locks didn't work on hotel door, staff refused to provide transportation to/from hotel to restaurant less than a mile away.”

• Located right off the interstate.
• The room was plagued with roaches as was the hotel.

“Awful. It was a dreadful stay where I spent more time killing bugs then resting for the next day of traveling. There was a roach in my bed, the toilet seat was broken, and the pool was home only to a black film. I will never stay at another Econo-lodge again and the two star rating was not fitting of the hotel. I don't think there is a star rating low enough for this hotel.”
