• Large room, 2 queen beds.
• AC was a little noisy.

“Convenient location, right on I35. Large clean room, with private dressing area. Refrigerator, but no microwave. Close to restaurants. We were moving our daughter into University of Texas & made several trips back & forth to her dorm, & to Walmart!”

• Nothing.
• No batteries in TV remote; phone kept breaking; tub looked dirty; overall the hotel looked trashy outside.

“I thought it was a 2 star hotel. It was a very scary looking place for a woman on her own to stay. All the guest walking around looked suspicious and I did not trust them. I did not feel safe at all. In fact I ended up leaving at around 11pm, because I knew I wasn't going to sleep. Even at a star 1 level. I have stayed at like star 3-4 level hotels in downtown San Antonio. I was very disappointed. Sorry.”

• Location to downtown Austin.
• Where do I start, most everything from check in to checkout.

“The room was filthy, racks were coming off the walls and it was just a bad experience. It is bad enough but we had the kids along also.”

“When we first arrived, we were given a key to a room that was already occupied by 2 men. On Saturday, the cleaning service came through at 10 am, we asked that they come back - they didn't. When we returned to the room Saturday evening, we went to front desk for clean towels and washcloths - they were out. On Sunday, when we returned to the room, our key didn't work.”

• I liked that it was conveniently located and had free WiFi.
• I did not like that they tried to charge me an amenity fee for the free WiFi and in-room coffee.

“The hotel is conveniently located and was easy to find. Check-in and check-out were relatively quick and easy. The room was clean, not particularly attractive, but served our purpose fine. The one thing that bothered me a bit was the $2.50 amenity fee that they tried to charge me for the free WiFi and in-room coffee. The guy at the desk said that all hotels do that, but he waived it for me when I asked politely. Overall, I would stay here again for a single overnight stay. For a longer stay, I would seek out a more spacious, attractive, and comfortable room, like at La Quinta.”

• The toilet handle was broken.

• Lobby was nice and clean but my room was average.
• Diesel trucks everywhere, very noisy hotel, didn't really like it.

“When I arrived I was impressed with the lobby, when I got to my room, I was disappointed, it did not live up to the looks of the lobby, There were mold stains on the bathroom wall and it smelled kind of bad, cigarette stains on the bathroom counter (it was a non smoking room). There were diesel trucks parked everywhere in the parking lot with their engines running all night and it was hard to sleep. Would not want to stay there very much.”

• Ice machine near the room was very slow. Also, there was an additional daily charge of $2.50 for each room I rented.

• Room appearance not too attractive, were supposed to get King but they overbooked and gave us a double.

• The garden and pool were wonderful.
• Room was musty, found a roach, TV reception bad, no internet.

“I was looking forward to my stay after seeing the lobby, gardens and pool area. The room however left quite a bit to be desired. Our family was really counting on that to find stores and restaurants in the area. We spent most of our time at the pool, which I have to say was the hotel's best feature. It was very kid-friendly with plenty of umbrella tables and lounge chairs.”

“The hotel was pretty close to the downtown. It took me around 40 minutes to check in. The rooms did not look very clean and had a certain kind of damp smell about them. They also do not offer free breakfast in the morning, but have 15% off Denny's across the street. Also there is a compulsory amenities charge on each room. Though I just went there to sleep. This could had been better for sure.”

• Big pool, clean grounds, nice rooms, free coffee, good for the money and location.
• A hotel of this caliber needs a continental breakfast.

“I was quite surprised to see the hotel was this big. The pool was really large and very clean. There happened to be a rugby championship in the city, so the pool was noisy and rough language at times. A staff member was extremely nice and helpful with places to eat. Right next door is a Japanese restaurant, Papasitos which was great, a sports bar and several others. Only minutes from town. Great experience would return.”

• The room was in very bad shape.

“The hotel was in a good location. However, the room I was in very bad shape. There was no refrigerator/microwave in the lobby. The toilet in the room did not work well. The internet connection was close to non-existent. Overall, a very bad experience.”
