“The building is older and the room smelled a little musty. But everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the highway and Downtown Austin was not far.”

“Bedside lamp was out, no button on shower converter. Instructions said to put card on bed that you wanted sheets changed, and if you hung up a towel that meant you would use it again. They took my hung up towel and didn't change the sheets on the bed.”

“the hotel did not agree to give me a nonsmoking room, they wanted to give a smoking room at all cost, I had to do a lot of phone calls and emails in order to get what I needed. Very sad experience. Hope never again go back to that chain on hotels.”

“This is our 2nd time staying at this hotel. Rooms have been very clean each time and a great value for the price. Their variety of the free continental breakfast is great with the Texas waffles freshly made. Location was great and accessible to main Austin highways.”

“Economical hotel in a good location. The room was fine but you had to walk through a really filthy staircase and walkway to get to the room. The hotel needs to take a power washer and just clean up the common areas.”

“The Baymont Inn is a former La Quinta Inn. It is a clean place and The staff takes care of the facilities. The biggest problem is the location of the hotel. It is right off IH 35 in a rather low economic section of Austin. It is probably not that safe a place for a single professional woman like myself. There are a lot of hotels around this area which I think would be better choices. The bed was quite uncomfortable and needed a new mattress. I doubt I will stay there again even though it was clean and well maintained.”

“I was quite happy with the price of the hotel. My son had a soccer tournament in Pflugerville and the hotel was close enough without costing a lot. The only problem that we had was when getting back to the hotel all spaces were taken up by people eating at Denny's, even though signs were posted "for hotel use only".”

“This was a nice, clean motel with a small swimming pool and an excellent breakfast. We were traveling through Austin with children and wanted to tour the capital. This motel is north of downtown but is an easy drive to UT and the capitol. Aside from the clerk at check in, the staff was warm and friendly. We were pleased with the facilities especially for the price.”
