• We were pleased with the size of the rooms, free wifi, free decent breakfast
• I would have liked for it to be on the other side of town.

“This La Quinta, though listed as a two-star, was much cleaner, a good size, and a generally pleasant place to be for the average traveler. Everything was clean, functional, and small amenities provided.”

• The hotel was well placed with a friendly staff. Would recommend for budget friednly families.
• No real negatives.

“The hotel was well placed for everything we did without a downtown location price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very filling and had a variety of choices. Great budget friendly place.”

• Accommodations were good and staff kept up with our room.
• Swimming pool needs to be kept up better -- pool area was very nice but pool had scum around inside/not very attractive.

“Hotel was very nice and very accommodating to our needs. Staff kept up with cleaning our room and changing of beds and bath necessities. Pool area was very nice but pool needs better maintenance.”

• Clean pool and room, reliable WiFi, great breakfast.
• Wobbly leg on table, noise from late arrivals (soccer team).

“The room, sheets and towels were very clean. The double beds were comfortable but not luxurious. The front desk people were very helpful and efficient. The breakfast had fresh waffles and fresh fruit as well as bagels, cereal, pastry, orange juice and milk. The pool was very clean. Overall maintenance was very good. It is located on a freeway which contributes to noise and a girl's high school soccer team arrived about 11pm and made lots of noise. Overall a very good value for the price.”

“I was very displeased with this hotel. The room was very smelly, dirty, bed uncomfortable. I called up the front desk ask for some spray. She said I could come get it and "make sure you bring it back as some one else has this problem that was a really bad statement. Called the hotel manager who moved us into a less smelly room. And he did give us a free night stay.”

• Felt safe, fairly clean, friendly staff.
• Location far from beach.

“This hotel was fairly nice, my family felt comfortable and safe staying here. The staff was friendly and we had no problems with the room itself. It was a good value and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.”

• The hotel was easy to get to and close to the attractions that my kids and I wanted to do.
• The only thing it need was a microwave and small fridge.

• Reynosa Holiday Inn put us in a horrible room on 7/30/08 with no air condition & no lights! Still waiting to be reimbursed!

“Ex: La Quinta Hotel in Ontario had a non-smoking/for persons with disabilities room? They however, apologized and finally accommodated us appropriately. The Holiday Inn in Reynosa was a disaster! Can you believe? They put us in a room without air condition! The heat and humidity made it impossible to sleep! The lights would not work neither! The maintenance person kept interrupting us trying to fix both.”

• I liked the variety of the breakfast and the kind, friendly employees.
• The wireless internet didn't work for the entire trip.

“This hotel is perfect for a short stay in Corpus Christi North. The pool, breakfast, cleanliness of the rooms, and courteous staff make it a step above it's 2 star rating. It's about ten minutes from downtown and walking distance from Bill Millers BBQ, McDonalds, what a burger, gas stations, convenience stores, and one of the cities oldest saloons. I definitely would recommend this hotel.”

• The hotel room smelled clean and looked well-kept, there was a Denny's right next door for a quick bite to eat.
• Staff member would not give us a king room and she said no because it was too much of a hassle.

“The hotel was nice and clean and a reasonable distance from the beach about 5 miles. Gas station and Denny's next door to hotel. Just what we needed for a last minute quick getaway. However, the hotel staff was not that nice. We have stayed at 4-star hotels and have never felt as bad as we did here at La Quinta.”

• Location was nice.
• Nothing worked on our floor.

“The hotel wing that we were placed was very old and outdated. The vending machine as well as the ice machine did not work on our floor as well as the two florrs below us and when we reported it we were told to just try and find one on the other floors. No other offer for assistance was offered or given. The waiter in Cafe Texas was wonderful as well as the concierge. Would not stay at this location again if given a choice.”
