“This is an old hotel with alot of potential that it could measure up to with a few more slight improvements. For the most part, the staff does all they can to provide personalized service, but maintenance, pest control, and some cleaning is lacking. I got the impression that the staff from management on down is trying to do the most with the resources they have, perhaps in the current market basic maintenance is suffering. The service in the restaurant was excellent, but the food was just on the edible side of mediocre, the coffee and hot chocolate were weak.”

“The Crowne Plaza was nice. There was some wear and tear that spoke to the age of the property, and some noise from the pool, but not to the point of having to change rooms or complain. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave, which would have been helpful. The room service order came very quickly. Overall, a positive experience.”

“Overall, quite clean and comfortable. There was not any smoke or noise problems, pool looked nice, and location was good for me in order to get to east side,university campus, and downtown easily. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends.”

“Nice hotel. Clean. Nice beds. Security problem with the parking. Restaurant is not associated with hotel so if you have a problem you have to bring it up with the restaurant. People were very nice. Excellent bell man.”

“I was very pleased with this hotel. The customer service was excellent. The staff was so kind, helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and were pleased. Our CD player did not work we called the front desk and within minutes the maint. Man was there with a new CD player. I would stay here again.”

“As a business traveler, Im getting tired of my old favorites - Hampton Inns & Holiday Inn Express. Its' great having a restaurant right in the hotel for room service and breakfast. Great breakfast buffet including made-to-order omelets and fresh orange juice.”

“For the bathroom, the soap dish in the shower had not been cleaned when we arrived and was never cleaned while we were there. The sink was cracked. Even though there were two of us, they did not leave enough wash cloths and hand towels. We probably would not stay there again.”

“The room was missing the hair dryer, we had to call the front desk twice to bring one up to the room and mount it on the wall. When we called the front desk on our first night there to ask about the Double bed versus king bed, we were told the hotel was full, too bad, we don't get another room. My wife and I are both large people and the double bed was very uncomfortable. Saturday morning we double checked with the front desk. They said it was all a mistake, and they would take care of it for our 2nd night stay, don't worry about it.”
