• It was clean and a good place to rest your head. Nice pillows.
• Not in the best part of town, lots of highway noise.

“It was nice and clean, friendly staff, great pillow choices, but it was a little noisy since it is right by the freeway. There are some not so nice hotels around it though that make it kind of undesirable.”

• The staff was friendly. They were able to put the three rooms I reserved all on one floor.
• I did not like that they did not have a free breakfast of some sort.

“This was a very nice, clean 3 star hotel. It is not quite suitable for children only because the rooms are very tight. It would have been nice to have a table with chairs instead of a desk.”

• Very friendly front desk staff. Nicely updated room.
• Location to room to elevator.

“The hotel rooms have been nicely updated. Everything was new in our room from the carpet, paint, television, etc. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was nice and a good price. Used the fitness room which had necessary equipment.”

• They need to maintain the property better. The rooms are really small.

• This hotel was very comfortable and clean.
• I had a difficult time getting to it -even after 5 days, I found it confusing because of its location on a one way street. Also, no nearby restaurant.

“It lived up to the Marriott standard. I was very happy with it. I was disappointed, though, that there were no restaurants in walking distance. Every destination required driving in a car which was difficult because of the strange road configurations. I would recommend the hotel gives better driving directions on their telephone message which was, by the way, a bit garbled and difficult to understand. When shown on a map, it looks deceptively simple to get to and even my Austin friend had to make several entries and exits on the nearby highways to get there.”

• The staff was polite and friendly.
• The room was pretty small, the bathroom was cramped, funny smell.

“The hotel was easy enough to find. The room was smaller than I would have expected and the bathroom was tiny. It was clean but there was an odd smell in the room. I was there during a heat wave which may have had something to do with that.”

• The staff was exceptionally nice. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable.
• The outside of the hotel was a bit bland.

“I loved the customer service at this hotel! The room was very clean and smelled nice. The beds were extremely comfortable and huge. The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown and right off of I-35; it is in a populous, clean, and nice part of town. Our overall stay was wonderful.”

• Comfortable beds, good location.
• Had to change room - drain in tub not working, TV not working.

“The hotel was fine, but not as good as most Marriotts. Just didn't feel as at home or as welcome as we did at the Residence Inn Marriott in Austin.”

• King-sized bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.
• No refrigerator in room.

“The bed was a pillow-top and was very comfortable. The sink is outside the bathroom, which is how I prefer to have it when not traveling alone. The bathroom is only big enough for the shower and toilet, which is why some people have complained that the bathroom is too small. However, I had no problems with it.”
