• Good price on hotel, comfortable bed.
• Needs renovation bad, $9.95 a day internet, roaches in room, stained carpets and wallpaper.

“This is an older hotel in bad need of renovation. We stayed there on a business trip for 4 nights. Lobby looks nice, beds were comfy and that is about it. The room was in poor condition. Heavily stained carpets and wallpaper, not very clean and we had roaches, I got one with my shoe, couldn't catch another and had a dead one near our bed. We switched rooms and the 2nd room was no better. Again, poor condition, badly stained carpets. $9.95 a day internet charge was ridiculous especially since most hotels offer this complimentary. Internet did not work in both rooms. The tech support from Way port did not help after more than an hour on the phone. I know it was not my computer because the internet worked fine outside of the hotel. I do not recommend this hotel for anyone. Our last night we stayed at a La Quinta Inn was much better, great rooms, exceptionally clean, free hi speed internet and excellent continental breakfast, about the same price as the Park Plaza.”

• Free parking close to retail.
• Room not clean no glasses no coffee.

“This hotel was good. The maid service was incomplete. No glasses in the room, no coffee left. The room was not really cleaned for my second night stay. The rooms are quiet and the front desk was friendly. Really this is more of the Motel 6 even though it is a hotel.”

• Its in a convent location.
• There was not a restaurant available in the morning.

“I understand that they are in the middle of remodeling but the floors were very stained. There wasn't any cups in the bathroom. The sheets were very thin. There wasn't a restaurant in the hotel or at least I couldn't find one open for breakfast. The TV was on and no one was around. I didn't get a receipt cause they said that it would be email to me which I thought was strange. I wouldn't go back until they finished their remodeling.”

• I liked the parking arrangement.
• I disliked the beds. They were not comfortable.

• Very clean in the midst of remodeling, very quiet.
• The outside didn't do the inside justice.

“Enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. Thanks for a great stay!”

• The price was right, location easy to find. they gave me extra coffee.
• I was hoping for a complimentary breakfast. A TV guide would have been helpful.

• Location and convenience.
• The location, and lighting in the parking lot, lack of security.

“The hotel is just outside the beaten path. It is need of renovation but isn't in bad shape. Security could be an issue given the location, but I did no experience any problems.”

• Good sized room.
• The bathtub drain was slow.

“Excellent value, except for the slowly filling bathtub as I took my shower. They'd create an up grade feeling with a few more amenities like a shower cap and lotion. Friendly staff provided good directions over the phone and supplied a toothbrush and toothpaste that I'd forgotten.”

• Was convenient coming from Houston, near Hwy 290.
• Not sure it was in a real safe location.

“We stayed for 2 nights. Both nights we were awakened. First night clock/radio alarm went off @ 4:45 a.m. Would be nice when maids are cleaning rooms if they checked to be sure alarm was to off. Second night we were awakened @ 1:50 a.m. by the fire alarm. Scary! Then an announcement came over the loud speaker saying everything was safe. Were told the next day someone pulled an alarm!”

• It was late, hurricane coming, traffic horrendous and I finally had a place to lay down and sleep for at least 4 hours before my morning meeting.
• I couldn't be fair about this considering my circumstances. I'm sure everything was fine.

“Location is great, there was some construction work being done there and it was slightly messy, but overall, it was fine.”

• The rooms are beyond shabby, old and worn.

“The first room we were put in was uninhabitable. The bed was tilted at least a 15 degree angle so the blood rushed to your head when you laid down. The carpets were filthy, stained and disgusting. The wall paper was stained and peeling off. We asked to be moved. The other room was slightly better - but overall, the hotel is run down, seedy and moldy. We both suffered allergic reactions to the mold. I've seen cleaner Motel 8's and Red Roofs. ”

“The hotel was in a great location to the places I wanted to go shopping at. The decor of the hotel was ok, but they need to bring in a decorator. My biggest complaint is no free wireless Internet. Providing free wireless internet service. You could spend the $10 wire internet service, but this is Austin where most stores and coffee shops have it for free.”
