• Price was good.
• Not very clean. Cost $15 to have room cleaned.

“Not the greatest. Hotel was at capacity with Hurricane evacuees. Halls were dirty. Breakfast was very minimal. If staying 3 days or less they don't clean room, change linens, etc unless you pay $15 fee.”

• Inexpensive.
• Not very clean, pool was not functional.

“Inexpensive room that contained both a refrigerator, range, and microwave. Not very clean, however, if that is a concern for you. Hallways and carpets were dingy and saw water stains in various spots. Not really a downtown hotel, but is right next to Town Lake if you want to jog the trail. A mile or so walk, if you want to go to 6th street.”

• no air conditioning, no phone in room,

“This could be an excellent hotel. However, when I arrived I was told the hotel was sold out and that although they had saved my room it was a smoking room, which I cannot stand. I was offered another room but the airconditioner was not working. I was also charged an extra $20.00 because the room was larger than the original room approved. ”

“This hotel was located in a a great location but the inside was dirty and the staff was not very helpful. Our room was dirty especially the bathroom. The elevator smelled like a wet dog. However we contacted their corporate office and explained that we have stayed in some of their other hotels and they were great, we only have a problem with this certain one. The were very interested in our experience and seemed to really care.”

• Terrible experience ... Hotel was so outdated for the price ...
• Old Hotel ... I could have stayed in a nicer hotel from $20 less per night down the street

“Old hotel, musty smelling, dirty, located in an unfriendly neighborhood ... would never stay there again or recommend anyone to stay there ... terrible experience ... bad bad bad ... I'm not very pleased ... I paided the same price per night in Fort Worth and had a much better experience ... ”

• there was a drain pipe from our A/C dripping into the bathtub!!!!

“This hotel has an excellent location. There is a beautiful view of Town Lake. This building needs to be renovated...yesterday. We had a drain pipe coming out of the ceiling that was draining the air conditioner into our bathtub!!The best solution would be to tear this building down and build a new, nice hotel on this beautiful property with a good location.”

• The hotel was filthy. It in no way can be rated as a 2 star hotel. They had no hotel amenities even to bathroom soap! Stench and unsanitary.

“This hotel should definitely be reported and investigated for its licensure. It was filthy and unsanitary. The rating for it should be negative.”

• I can't this was a terrible experience. Broken bathroom tile, bugs, musty odor. I will never use an extended stay again.

• location was great, very close to the job site.
• extra charge for double beds.

“This hotel is very close to the grimy side of town. Lock up your cars and install the bullet proof glass. If you asked the hotel people would tell you they are a 4 star hotel, but they have no idea what that entails. Plan to pay more for 2 beds in a room. If theres a loop hole to get more $ out of you, they will use it.”

• Easy access to the freeway.
• The hotel did not look to be a 2 star hotel. It was ran down.

“We looked at the outside of the building, and the place looked liked a ran down building. We requested a non smoking room, and they didn't have one available. The room that they gave us was a smoking room. Then they upgraded us to a bigger smoking room. But it was still a smoking room. The overall up keep of the property was not there. The high speed internet was not high speed. We don't recommend this hotel.”

• The location on the river is convenient to area attractions.
• Very poorly maintained.

“The hotel was poorly maintained and the swimming pool was closed. There was an argument among staff who were drinking in one of the rooms. Apparently they had not received their pay checks on time and an altercation resulted. It was generally a very unpleasant experience.”

“The Extended Stay was dirty, small, the pool (I was told) never opens. But for the price I paid, it was decent. I wouldn't have paid what they were originally asking for (which was double what I paid).”

“The hotel was not centrally located downtown, which I was lead to believe. The airconditioner in my room did not work at all. It was very loud in the parking lot at night.”

• Good location, easy to get to and close to downtown
• Items furnished at the site have changed since by last stay. No breakfast and we had to ask for several personal items that were included before.

• It was clean and wasn't expensive.
• Didn't stay there long. Didn't care for opinions of extra person at front desk

“The hotel was fine. There was a older man at the front desk not the person that check us in, Started running his mouth when he found out we lived near the president. We didn't stay at this hotel to hear his nasty opinions about our president. That was the sown side to our stay. I will be calling the hotel myself. Don't know if he is a night manager or what.”
