• Location.
• Very dated, old, worn, dirty, noisy, smelly, terrible elevators.

“The OMNI is a dump. It's undergoing renovations, so there's hope, but it has a long long ways to go.”

• Location to event we attended, staff was great, rooms clean.
• Elevators slow at times, did have one that was not working; notice was posted telling you so.

“Great downtown location, staff friendly and very helpful, rooms nice size and pleasant. Did not hear the noise that others had complained about. Would stay again.”

• The breakfast buffet was good.
• Not a four star like they and you say.

“Rooms are small and old. They had us in the executive suite level and it was definitely not executive or a suite, you could say the opposite actually. The maid knocked on the door at 7:30am to check for cleaning which in my opinion is a way to early, she woke my wife up.”

• Renovation was very nice, friendly helpful staff.
• Renovation still in progress on other floors. Morning noise.

• Service and the hotel itself was very nice.
• They were doing renovations above us both morning and night with constant noise.

“The hotel and their staff was great. I would stay there again, but I would make sure no renovations were in progress. The noise level inside our room was very irritating.”

• Friendly staff, large clean rooms.
• Slightly older appointments in rooms; no view.

“Great Downtown location and friendly staff. Rooms are large, attractive and clean. Lobby has bar, coffee bar and lots of dining choices. Great for a business traveler or a quick weekend trip. Highly recommend.”

• Fees for internet use. No moderate priced restaurant.

“A good location, but the property has the feel of a business/convention hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, but small. I stayed at the Hilton the next night. That room had a leather loveseat and was more comfortable.”

• The hotel staff-excellent.
• Brand new room, the formaldehyde was very strong.

“Very pleasant stay, room was new and very clean, I am short and the beds are high. The meal and drinks where priced right and the staff was excellent. This was a business trip and I visit Austin three-four times a year.”

• Brand new remodeled room. Excellent choices. Room was beautiful.
• Because of remodeling, drilling sound started about 10:00 am and was still going at 12:00 noon when we checked out. Very annoying.

“Our room had just been totally remodeled. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The bathroom had also undergone total remodel. Paying for parking at a hotel in Texas is not something that I had expected. Also, our room seemed to be the only one that did not receive the complimentary newspaper at the door. Overall, the hotel was a great value.”

• Starbuck's, restaurant was reasonable.
• Charge for parking.

“Excellent room decor and comfortable. The charge for parking should be free, if the restaurant and bar facilities are used.”

• Clean and renovated.
• Fresh paint and new carpet smell was nauseating.

“It was obvious this hotel was undergoing renovations, even though you could tell the management was doing this room by room, floor by floor. My co-worker was in non-renovated room and she felt comfortable. I was put in a room that must have been painted the day before. The smell of the fresh carpet and paint when you stepped off the elevator was bad, but once you stepped into the room it was overwhelming. Once the smell dies down, these will be nice, comfortable rooms. There was a note in my room about the internet being down during the middle of the night, but I would have liked to see a letter about the smell and maybe some potpourri or a can of air freshener to lessen the fumes. You probably won't have this problem, but if you do, don't expect the front desk to ask you about your stay when you check out.”

• Very nice room.
• They wouldn't allow a roll away bed and there were (4) of us.

“I would never recommend this hotel because of the manager on duty. He made us feel like we were unwanted guest. He was reluctant to do anything for us. He was extremely rude and unprofessional and I will never book a room with them again!”

• Very helpful. I lost my ATM and front desk helped me look for it.
• Everything was fine.

“It had the most professional staff. They were friendly and helped me look for my lost ATM card. Everything was convenient. I did not bother renting a car because it was so close to restaurants and shops Downtown.”

• Location.
• It is not a 4-star by any means. It needs to be completely updated.

“This hotel placed my bags that they were holding due to early ck. in into a room that the bed was, unmade, the ironing board out in the middle of room, dirty bath towels thrown thru out the room and dirty bathroom. On the next stay the door would not lock properly and they said they were sending a key for us to move ourselves to a new room and they never followed thru. Finally I went to front desk to get things taken care of. The rooms are all in need of remodel and they were very dusty. Please take this place off of your 4star rating. It doesnt compare at all to the other 4 star hotels.”

• The location is about it. Bad for the environment!
• It is not environmentally friendly. The staff was not well informed. They are renovating and you should tell me that in advance.
