• The staff was very cordial. They made us feel like we were part of the experience.
• Unaware of date and time fro breakfast and when it was free and not free!

• Beds were soft and very nice.
• Wouldn't budge and give us a king-sized bed.

“Location was very good. Housekeeping didn't come until 3-4 in the afternoon when we came back. Other than that, perfect for us at a great price.”

• Arrived around 7:30 pm and staff made me a fresh pot of coffee and smiled while doing it. They were exceptionally friendly.
• No complaints.

“Staff was wonderful! Room very nice and comfortable and very clean. Hot coffee and a cookie available upon arrival. No noise.”

• Nice hotel.
• We were placed in a handicap room with no hot water. No spoons at breakfast.

“Well located. Clean and dependable. Disappointed in being placed in a handicap room, further disappointed by no hot water (it happens), but disappointed in no spoons at breakfast buffet and no one to get one from for 10 minutes.”

• Non smoking facility. The beds were phenomenal. They were firm and of excellent quality.
• There was not a fridge in the room.

“There was an excellent complimentary breakfast for our Friday night / Saturday morning stay. The room was good sized, very nicely decorated, w/ comfortable furnishings and a large TV. The complimentary internet was great. It seemed everything was a step above what is found in the usual average hotel room.”

• It was up scaled yet at an affordable price.
• The lobby was kind of small.

“This hotel was great right off the highway, rooms were a little small but they had that upscale touch and that cute little dog (made from towels) made me smile when I walked in the door. Loved my stay.”

• We were very pleased with the heated indoor pool and the hot breakfast that was included.
• The carpet in the room appeared old and dirty.

• Rooms felt a bit stuffy, and beds had a humid smell.

“The hotel is at an excellent location. Rooms could be re-decorated a bit better and bed/linen not smelled so much of humidity.”

• The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
• The rooms were a little on the small side.

“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We couldn't remember the name of a restaurant we had heard about to eat at, so the girl at the front desk called around until she found out for us. Also, the last day of our stay, we had car trouble and the manager offered to drive us to a parts store. The rooms were very nice and attractive. Also, the location of the hotel was perfect, only minutes from downtown and right next door to a movie theater and many restaurants.”

• The rooms were extremely clean, spacious and comfortable.
• The pool area was somewhat small and echoed so extremely loud.

“I was pleasantly surprised with the rooms in this hotel. Impeccably clean and great service. The room was extremely soundproof, so we were able to get a great night's sleep in a busy hotel.”

• I would prefer an outdoor pool.

• Convenient and fast check in and check out. Great bed also.

“Although situated outside of downtown Austin, it was only a short drive into the center of town. Also the arboretum is full of great places to eat and some fantastic hill country views.”

• The staff has the best attitude. They were always friendly and very helpful as has been my experience at most Marriott facilities.
• It was a little difficult to find, since I was not that familiar with area of Austin. However, it was worth the find, as it was convenient .
