  • Bed had bed bugs and I am still in agony.

“Bed had bed bugs. Manager waived incidentals but not entire stay and did not seem too concerned about the rash I had broken out into.”

  • Even though there were incredibly loud people next to us, room was quiet.
  • Skimpy on the coffee.

“Lovely hotel with very friendly staff.”

“Beautiful hotel in downtown Austin. Blocks from 6th street and the Capitol. We walked everywhere and didn't drive at all.”

  • The hotel more than met my expections.
  • Nothing.

“It had everything one could possible need. Very friendly staff. They have a van that will take you within 2 miles of the hotel.”

  • Very friendly staff.
  • Parking is very narrow.

“I recommend this hotel. It is a very comfortable place to stay.”

  • Great hotel in a great location.
  • Water pressure was very low.

“This is a really nice hotel a few blocks from 6th street but without all of the rowdy activities after 2 am. They offer a shuttle until 10pm which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.”

  • Downtown location, ample space, ensuite kitchen, and warm cookie.
  • $15/day parking, $10/day WiFi.

“It seemed like a super deal at first, but after racking up additional charges for WiFi access and the parking garage, my feeling about this hotel being a deal quickly evaporated. Then again, not everyone uses WiFi, nor does everyone use the parking garage (but a lot of us Texas residents do!).”

  • Location is great, suites are large.
  • The walls must be made of paper, I could hear partiers in the hotel and on the street until about 4 AM. Not cool.

“Service is great, location is too, rooms are outdated, but clean. The only concern I have is the thin walls and balcony to the street let in so much noise. I heard partiers in the hotel and on the street until at least 4 AM one night. Also, 6 fire trucks must have driven by with their sirens on. I've stayed there before without incident, but this experience will definitely make me think twice about it in the future.”

  • The hotel was clean. The service was good. The location was excellent.
  • The parking fee for overnight in the garage should have been included as part of the room rate.

“The suite was clean and comfortable. The pool was a nice place to relax and there were always plenty of fresh towels available. It was very conveniently located in Austin. We would definitely stay there again. The only downside to the hotel is the $15 per day lug for parking in the underground garage. Parking is extremely tight and maneuvering the turns is difficult even for small cars. But with only short term parking meters available on the streets, you have no viable alternatives.”

  • Free shuttle; chocolate chip cookies; friendly staff; convenient location.
  • Parking garage is a very tight fit for larger vehicles.

“In town for one night and loved our stay at this hotel. Very convenient to downtown venues. Friendly staff had great suggestions for dinner/entertainment.”

  • It was spacious, attractive, had many amenities and the service was fantastic!
  • The toilet in my room had an issue and was noisy.

“This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The suites were huge: living room with couch that converted to a bed, dining room, full kitchen including full-size fridge, oven, and microwave, large bedroom with bathroom. It had a large flat screen TV in both the bedroom and living room. It was very tastefully appointed, very lovely, and everything was very new and clean. They stocked a wide array of Neutrogena products. And the service! I counted 7 people that were very helpful during my stay, they really went above and beyond.”

  • The room was
huge and the hotel was very nice. More than I expected to get for what I paid.
  • Housekeeping showed up at 7am.

“Huge room, great views, friendly staff,
I told all my friends!”

  • Very good location, walking distance to Capitol.
  • The rooms were very poorly lit.

“Great location for visiting the capitol. Our room was very poorly lit, especially the restroom. I guess there is a law that mandates the low watt bulbs? The parking at the hotel was a problem, since we have a large vehicle, we couldn't use the garage and had to use valet parking at $30/day.”

  • Suites were spacious.
  • One bed was saggy and couch cushion flattened.

“A fine place to stay. The size of the space you get, like a small apartment and the cleanliness makes up for the slightly played out furniture.”

  • Spaciousness and location.
  • Fee to use wireless internet.

“The overall quality of the hotel is nice. The hot tub was a plus. The room was huge. My biggest problem is that they charge for internet access. $10/day may not seem like much, but that's extra. Also, they charge for hotel parking. Street parking is free overnight.”
