• The location was excellent.
• There was one tiny uncomfortable bed.

• Good location, cold air conditioner.
• Musty odor, shabby rooms.

“The first room did not have a made-up bed. We had to be moved. The next room had a smoke-detector that chirped incessantly. It needed a new battery. There was no remote control for the television. Neither of the mirrored closet doors were operable; one being completely off it's track and the other one frozen in place. And, the entire place had a bad, musty-like smell.”

• The staff was very efficient and hotel was close to many bus lines.
• Not really downtown, no common area amenities.

“The greatest asset of the hotel are its people, the front desk staff has really been helpful in orientating me to living in Austin. They really seem to take pride in their work. The hotel also has amenities that make it useful for someone new to town, the in-room internet service is $5.00 per stay, and printing and copying is free. Also having housekeeping only once a week is to my liking, in traditional hotels, I often post do not disturb because I really don't someone organizing my stuff. I enjoy having a kitchen, although there are no grocery stores within walking distance, it is nice to be able to buy food and not have to worry about going out first thing in the morning for breakfast. Also sitting at the counter and working on the computer reminded me of an apartment. Also being able to watch cable including show time and have 75-degree air conditioning 24/7 are two amenities that I would probably not have in an apartment. The only shortcomings of the hotel are the odd smell in the elevator stairwells and the fact that my room door does not fit the doorway, you can see the hall from the crack in the door. The door locks, but allows noise from hall to enter room. Also it seems.”

• Staff was outstanding.
• Lobby and hallways had bad smell.

“This property was in a very convenient location, exceptionally clean, the staff was truly outstanding in every way, the amenities for this type of property was good, even the property maintenance man would speak and say hello as I passed down the hallway. The only drawback to this location was the stale less than desirable smell in the lobby and hallways like stale cat litter or something, but the room did not have that smell and was exceptionally nice for this level property.”

• It just had bang for our buck.
• Not too much right these besides burger.

“It was definitely surprising to be in a Austin hotel for price. It came with kitchen facilities and we never used them, but liked the space it provided.”

• Smelled like sewer roaches in the bathroom.

“This was a horrible hotel it smelled of sewer in the halls and there were roaches coming out of the drains.”

• It was cheap and a good sized room.
• The tub was old looking, and the hallways smelled like smoke.

“This hotel was all I had expected. It was close to the area I needed it to be and a nice room. And the price was great too!”
