• Location: close to the river, downtown, restaurants.
• One big cockroach! TV needed adjusting, but I didn't notify management.

• The outside was nice the lobby was also nice, good location.
• The smell in the room, bath tub looked dirty and mold around vents, also large roach in the bathroom, one also woke me up next to my face on pillow.

“This hotel would be nice if they took the time to clean and spray it. They probably need to have it inspected for the mold issue which may be why there was unclean smell in the room. I did not notice the odor in the lobby but once upstairs in Hallways is when I started noticing it.”

• Nice kitchen with plenty of counter space.
• Out of Kleenex, out of soap, no utensils in kitchen.

“Great location, nice room featured kitchen with plenty of counter space. For an economy business travelers suite hotel it was very nice. Now the downside: when we were there they were out of tissues (totally), out of large bars of soap (totally) and the staff had no idea when more might arrive. The kitchen was nicely laid out but had no utensils. The coffee maker is a 32 oz type but the coffee packets the hotel provides are for 20 oz makers. That was one weak pot of coffee. No creamer, no stirrers. When we checked in the bed had been made and appeared to be clean, but there was used Kleenex in the bathroom trash can and dirty wash cloths on the floor behind the toilet. The wall mounted A/C unit had 2 speeds; off and freezing. Set at slow fan speed the unit still ran full blast.”

• Not Clean and no power back up.

“Hotel staff was ok not very helpful The bathrooms were dirty and the hotel had a bad smell not very clean. There was a storm and The power was off for some-time there was no back up for emergency lighting to get to the rooms.”

• Extremely convenient for our purposes.
• Smell in both room and hallway.

“Considering the price, and the fact that we needed to be across the street at the PEC, I will not complain too much. I did have a silverfish in my drawer, and the carpet in the room was quite stained. I did not feel like walking barefoot. The bedding and towels were fine and the water was hot. I did find The staff to be courteous and helpful.”

• I liked everything about the room and I travel allot.

• Nothing.
• Room dirty! Smelled of urine! Bugs! What more can I say?

“Hotel nasty! Beds and bedspread smelled like urine, silverfish crawling all over floor, floor sticky, electricity went off at 1 in the morning scary! Worst Hotel in have stayed in 30 years.”

• Hotel staff was superb, excellent, went beyond.
• Internet was only wireless no hard line internet.

“Hotel has been remodeled all carpet, common areas, beds, furniture, etc. New all staff went above and beyond to help me with any need I had great location within walking distance (little long) to 6th street entertainment district short cab ride to Downtown (capitol, etc) close to freeway.”

• Nice kitchen, beds, etc.
• There was a centipede in our room!

“Nice place to stay with the kitchen, etc. I didn't stay there long though because there was a huge centipede in our room that crawled out from under the bed! It had a ton of legs and was so creepy looking! They came up and pulled out the fridge since it went under there, but couldn't find where it went. So we left and went to say at the La Quinta which was great!”

• The 24 hour access to pool hot tub and gym. They make a wonderful steak as well.
• I did not like the facial experience I received.

• Location!
• The air conditioner was extremely loud, and turned on and off very loudly.

“I came to Austin after a 7 hour drive to take my Registered Nurse State Board Exam the next morning. Everything was fine, except the A/C. Rather than operating with the fan in the "on" mode constantly and the compressor coming on in intervals when necessary, the entire unit (which was extremely loud) would shut down and come back on. It woke me up throughout the night, coming on every 5-8 minutes! I have never written a review before, until this experience. Don't stay here if you have anything important coming the next morning. Fortunately, I passed my exam on less than 3 hours sleep, but I wish I could go back and secure a restful night's sleep.”

“When I checked in, the room reserved for me was not made up. The staff quickly moved me to another room. That room still had trash in the garbage can in the kitchen, but I did not want to try and get another room and it was not a big deal since it was under the sink.”

• The location was good.
• The urine smell at entrance and in room was overpowering.

“We just wanted a clean place to stay one night while in Downtown Austin for a sporting event at University of TX. The location was good and also the adjacent restaurants. The lobby smelled. The room looked clean, bathroom was ok, kitchenette was ok, but the carpet reeked of pet urine and flower scented carpet deodorizer. I will never forget that horrendous combination of odors. Too tired to fight about it.”

“Hotel was just fine. It's exactly what I expected for the Extended Stay family of hotels. I think this brand is the lower end, perhaps? The rooms are a little smaller, but mine was clean and well-kept. I read some negative reviews of this hotel and was concerned about what I had gotten myself stuck with. When I arrived, I realized that I had actually stayed at this exact same hotel a year prior, and the negative reviews didn't match my experience's) at all. I'm not picky, but I sure would remember it if I saw bugs or any indication that my bedding wasn't clean. I encountered neither and my stay was perfectly unmemorable and uneventful - exactly what I was expecting.”
