• Very convenient to anywhere you want to you.
• Loud construction going on right across the road from our room late into the night on our last night there.

“This hotel was very convenient to the airport, Austin, and surrounding towns and cities. Our room as clean (although the bathroom was tiny) and the staff friendly. It was, however, very noisy on our last night there with some kind of construction going on across the road from our room late into the night.”

• Limited eating areas without having to drive.

“The room was ok, but nothing special. Kind of smelly not too fresh! The noise level was very good to be so close to major freeway. But the price was fair. The entry to the 2nd floor from the lobby was in poor condition just plain worn out.”

“Clean rooms and friendly staff. It is on I-35, so it is convenient to downtown, about 5 minutes.”

• Nothing.
• It was in a very bad part of town and we did not feel safe leaving our car in the lot.

“We didn't even check in to the motel. It was on the corner of a highway in a very industrial and worn down part of Austin. We had to lose our money because the motel was not suitable for crack heads.”

• There was really nothing to like at all.
• The entrance of the Hotel was congested with traffic.

• Location was very good and the staff was friendly.
• Mold in the shower, the pool was full of dirt and mold.

“The location worked and the price was fair. Overall, Austin is a great place so the hotel didn't overshadow our time on vacation. Thank you.”

• The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was also in a convenient location for restaurants and shopping.
• My only complaint is that my room had a very strong odor of smoke. I neglected to ask for a nonsmoking room and just chose to keep the room.

“I was very pleased with our room. It surpassed my expectations in appearance and the quality and comfort of the room. We will be happy to stay there again.”

• It has a good location, easy access to the highways.
• It definitely needs a face lift.

“I have stayed at several Laquinta hotels on many different locations. This hotel is not quite living up to most new Laquinta hotel. As I said earlier, it needs a face lift.”

• No shuttle to and from Downtown for a major event, in which several guests participated.

• Drug deals, fights, and prostitutes.

“Within minutes of checking in I was approached by a hooker. Shortly thereafter there was a crack deal right in front of my room. My sleep was interrupted by fighting two out of the three nights I stayed there. Most La Quintas have been a two star hotel but this one should never be considered so. I was completely disgusted by this motel.”

• Beds needed to be upgraded/ pool was unheated, too cold.
