“Nice location (but not the best) on the Riverwalk. Friendly, helpful staff - even with odd requests for leaving luggage behind for a friend to pick up. Modern design. Dark, romantic. Gets very loud at night from people on Riverwalk, and loud during the day from downtown traffic - which is a slight turn off, but I suppose cannot be avoided due to the location.”

• Location.
• Entire stay I was not able to access internet from the room, which was a priority consideration.

“The room was not prepped upon initial check in the first evening after 5pm. No bath towels, etc. The second night some one had reprogrammed the TV remote control. The entire stay I was not able to access this hotels interet (but thanks to the friendly staff of an adjacent hotel I was able to use theirs), wireless or hardwired! Staff was not able to assist. Maintenance request was never acted upon.”

• Not able to do in less than 20 words.

“Had to pay extra for the room to upgrade to include the family. No towels were provided, even when you ask the cleaning crew, you still need to go to the front desk and request. Broken coffee pot was never replace, did not have any extra. Sheets on bed are old.”

• Their computer in the lobby was worthless.

“This hotel was great after a day of play in New Braunfels! The accommodations were comfortable and roomy. The staff was especially helpful!”

• Great location - convenience of restaurants, shops, & Schiltterbaun.
• Pool area-ok, but not great for family (kind of small).

“The breakfast, staff, cleanliness, etc. was appropriate for this star level. We felt safe and it was a very convenient location. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.”

• Staff was not friendly.

“I was told upon arrival that my family of 4 was going to be in a smoking room with a king size bed, when we requested a non smoking dbl. We were told that, that was a upgrade and we would have to pay extra $ more. I paid my 20.00 dollars and enjoyed the rest of my vacation with my family. My advice is this. There is a nice brand new La Quinta Inn that is just across the highway. Stay there instead.”

• Location. Clean. Convenient.
• Being charged for extras which should have been included.

“I don't think it was made very clear that we were getting a one bed room (we have a family of 4). The hotel had rooms with 2 beds available and they charged us an extra $20 for this room, which is silly if they had it open anyway. They also would have charged us $10 for a roll away bed, which should not be an extra charge. The staff was not very accommodating in these areas. Other than that, the room was clean and our stay was fine.”

“The hotel itself was fairly nice for an economy hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. No a very satisfied customer!”

• The location to my destination was very good.
• The A.C. unit was loud. The walls were unpainted and dirty and there was a roach in the bathtub.

“Based on the above information, I will never stay at this hotel again. The staff was nice, but the facility was in great need of a good cleaning and proper maintenance.”

• Only had a smoking room available. AWFUL!

“Staff was friendly, but they only had a smoking room. The room smelled awful (like old, burnt cigarettes) and caused all my clothes to smell awful.”

• It was easy to find along the freeway and access to street to go Downtown.
• Ice machine broke, no laundry bag, no bath soap, not enough towels.

“The hotel is a simple constructed with added features and cheap furniture with much wear. They cut corners in quality. The house cleaning seems to be doing a good job though.”

• The continental breakfast was well stocked with a verity of breakfast items and it had a digital safe in the room.
• The room was a smoking room.

“Other than being a smoking room, it was very easy to gain access to IH-35 in both south and north bound traffic. The king size bed was very comfortable and was a med firmness.”
