• Great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Parking seems a little crowded.

“Older but nice hotel. Well-maintained, rooms seem updated. The only problem we had was trying to connect to internet.”

• The staff was friendly and attentive.
• The pool was a bit murky an unchlorinated.

• No quality for Holiday Inn, very old style.

“Upon arrival I was a little shocked. I expected it to be nice since it was a Holiday Inn, but it is old and outdated. The fitness room had no A/C which made it impossible to work out since temp is 100 degrees.”

• The pool was clean and ready to use.
• The soda machines didn't work.

“We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean and the pool was in good condition. The location is great for easy access to Schlitterbahn, historic Greene, and other attractions.”

• For a business traveler, it was in a good location.
• Food is expensive, no complimentary breakfast, overpriced for what you get.

“The hotel is in decent shape, rooms were clean, etc., but it was way overpriced for what you get. Our room faced I-35 so you heard traffic all day/night. When we arrived, there was vomit in one of the outdoor covered walkways. They did clean it up later that day. The fact that we paid for two nights stay and didn't even get a complimentary breakfast was pretty disappointing.”

• Convenient location, fridge. and microwave in room.
• There was too much screaming noise coming from the pool.

“This was the fifth year in a row we have stayed here, and as usual we were very happy with our stay. The room was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly. Room service was quick and the food was very good! (a little over priced) We will be back next year.”

• No rooms with two queen size beds.

“An older hotel - the staff was very courteous, rooms clean, I did not like the fact that this location only offered rooms with two double beds, I prefer Queen. I thought it was a little pricy for the quality offered. Probably will not stay here again.”

• Exterior looked old- the old style holiday inns.

“Disappointed at first with exterior appearance, but room was updated and comfortable. Staff was definitely above average- very helpful and nice. No free breakfast, just adjacent restaurant, but it's expensive to nearby restaurants (hop, many fast food places, and local places).”

• Easy access to the interstate and restaurants (IH-35).
• Rooms did not appear to be kept up with/bad toilet in our room and bed was very uncomfortable.

“Customer service was very good and there was very easy access to the interstate and restaurants. While I realize this was an older Holiday Inn, I believe it could have been better maintained.”
