“Somebody threw up in the pool and the staff did not respond to complaints. The walls must be made of paper, you could hear other rooms conversation , as if they were in our room.”

• Clean and friendly atmosphere and attentive staff.
• Well, It was inexpensive, what would you expect.

“We are adopting a little girl and have to travel for several weekends while she gets accustomed to us. My wife, son, and I stayed ad an "upscale" Hilton the first weekend because we got a great deal. Never again. I would recommend La Quinta several times over before I would even consider the Hilton again. The Hilton was dirty, smelly, had no breakfast, and had an annoyingly arrogant staff. The La Quinta staff was personable and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and we honestly enjoyed our stay there. Plus, the room, though cheap, was big enough for all 4 of us to stay comfortably overnight.”

• Hotel Staff was good but hotel rooms are in poor condition.
• Hotel room was in very poor condition.

“I wouldn't recommend the hotel to other friends based on my experience about hotel quality. The staff was good and tried to help us in many ways.”

“It was an overall good hotel. I believe the restroom in the room could have been cleaner as I found a bunch of hair behind the toilet on the wall. I would stay there in the future.”

• I didn't have to pay full price, I would have been upset if I did. Breakfast was good.
• TV was old, poor reception, barely watch able. Everything coated in ugly yellow paint outdoors.

“Friendly staff but an aging facility. Probably one of the older motels in the area.”

• The cleanliness, location, quiet, the quality type guests to which they cater.
• Their use of double beds in rooms & not queens.

“This hotel provided an excellent room that was clean & safe on our leisure trip to San Antonio. The location & neighborhood was excellent with great shopping & places to eat only minutes away. My only complaint is their having double beds & not queens. Continental breakfast could be rated as only fair but very adequate with the facilities very clean.”

• It is an older motel that has been redone nicely and looked neat and clean except bedspread.
• I don't like outside motel type entrances.

“The room looked very nice except old style patterned bedspread ruined clean neat appearance of this room.”

• Continental breakfast area not really clean.

“I do enjoy La Quinta hotels. This one has their continental breakfast area kind of around a corner and it was not well taken care of might be because they couldn't see it all. Also side parking was on a deep downhill angel that was tough to back up to room. Other than that all was well.”

• The time I stayed in the hotel was only two nights.
• The hotel was understaffed and not customer friendly overall.

“This hotel may be beneficial to those on short business trips, traveling without family (especially children) only.”

• The availability of an elevator and the cleanliness of the room as well as the in-room coffee pot.

“We were extremely pleased with this hotel and room and would definitely recommend it to others. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room more than met our expectations.”

• The price was economical / good location (next to the interstate).
• The buildings looked more like apartments that hotels. Beds were not very comfortable.

• The spaciousness of the bathroom/sink area. I loved all the mirrors.
• There was nothing I didn't like.

“The hotel was great. It far exceeded my expectations. The room was extremely roomy and offered comfort in every area. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would have loved to stay longer.”
