• Size of room and cleanliness.

“The beds were only double sized beds and the room was much smaller than expected. It met our needs but not the comfort we desired. The carpet really needed to be cleaned.”

• Convenient to Ft Sill Base.
• Dirty bathrooms.

“Not even close to a two star. The bathrooms were filthy, the overall cleanliness of the entire hotel was dirty, poor lighting, very dark and gloomy.”

• The pool and the deck in the court yard.
• The was no air conditioning in the hall ways and common areas. Also the carpet in the hall ways were old and dingy.

“The hotel was a good place to sleep but I would not want to stay there for more than a week. But it was ok for a place to lay your head down.”

• I liked the location, everywhere we went from it was easy to find.
• The construction on the entrance.

• Dirty, smelly, old, construction, no facilities, horrible.

“This is the second worst hotel that I have ever stayed in in my life. Dreadful, just dreadful.”

• Very convenient to the Fort Sill Military Base and the center of town. Easily accessible from the highway.
• The hotel did not fill my request for a non smoking room.

“The bathroom was somewhat clean but the shower walls were filled with mold and mildew. Very scary. The room had a foul smell of old cigarettes and I was told that my room was non-smoking. The HVAC unit did not turn on when I first put it on and I had to play around with the controls for a minute just to get the unit working. I needed a room for a one night layover and that is just what it was.”

• It was in the same town I wanted to stay in Lawton.
• No mention of a pet fee and the rooms are going down hill in quality every time I stay at this hotel.

“It would be nice to let you customers know what hotels charge a pet fee. My room had a some of the wall paper torn off it and the curtains were looking rather worn along with everything else there. The room could have been cleaned better there was dirt in the corners and old stale donuts between the bed and night stand. Channel selection wasn't very good but better then nothing. It is getting worse every time I stay there. The temperature control for the heater was not working properly. Using instructions from the front desk I had the turn the thermostat down to get heat!”

• This hotel was worse than terrible. I checked in and out all within 90 minutes.
• The only good thing was the helpfulness of the staff in finding me another hotel because I refused to stay in this one.

“This place was awful. The ceilings had mold showing, the carpets were old and filthy. The room I was given was a smoking room and even though I am used to being around smokers, this room smelled worse than many bars Ive been in. The room was also hot. After an hour, during which time I went to a local store to buy air freshener spray for the room, I returned to find the room was even hotter even though I had turned the ac on an hour prior. I was told by the front desk that the ac in the building had been turned off 'two weeks ago' because they had a 'cold snap' and could not be turned back on until 'next summer.' they said the best they could do was try to bring me a box fan for the room. At that point I checked out. I was there no longer than 90 minutes total. I have to say that the staff was friendly and helpful in locating a room for me at another hotel. That was the only, I repeat 'the only' thing good about this place.”

• The bed was comfortable. That was the only thing I liked.
• The air conditioner was not working properly, had to change rooms, still no good. Very hot. Not clean. Staff not much helps.

“We did not like our stay at this hotel. The ac was not working properly and it was very hot. We had to switch rooms, which did not help, but we were so busy that, we couldn't stay during check-in longer to fix the problem. We had to go buy a fan. They probably would have provided fans, but the staff was not friendly and made it seem a burden to help us.”

• The two ladies at the desk seemed grateful to talk to anybody who was not complaining.
• It's difficult to decide what to highlight.

“Where to begin. I have never paid so much for so little. The AC spewed damp, tepid air, only adding to the dank smell. The beds literally didn't have sheets - no joke! The only evidence of any maintenance ever having been performed was an ill-fitting flapper in the toilet tank which made the thing run continually. I cannot believe any national hotel chain would attach their name to such a place.”

• Location was convenient from the highway.
• The room was old and shabby.

“I think this room was overpriced. It was not clean looking at all, the carpet was old and dirty and the walls looked dirty, the bathrooms had not been cleaned thoroughly. The lobby of the hotel was nice as was the outside pool area.”

• Fealty & criminal activity going on.

“This entire hotel was completely disgusting. The whole place smelled horrible and it was moldy and grimy everywhere. Trim was rotting and falling off the walls and building. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling down and there was mold around the base of the toilet. I checked in and out with in 5 minutes.”

• Needs updating. Non-smoking room was musty and a little shabby. We were very disappointed and would not stay there again.

“We wanted lodging with a continental breakfast and expected at least cleanliness. The room was musty, dark and shabby.”

• There was nothing to like about this hotel.
• It was not just dirty but Nasty dirty.

“This hotel was in an unsafe area, it was smelly (old urine), outdated (no grounded outlets to plug laptop into), dirty (dried vomit on the walls, candy wrappers and a ladies necklace on the floor). The front desk would never answer their phone. I felt unsafe and dirty just being there. I've contacted Ramada's corporate office and filed a complaint. You list other hotels for Lawton with this same rating. I've stayed at some of the others listed and found them to be far superior.”

• I did not like anything about the hotel.
• The hotel was old and very out dated. They did not clean rooms very well.

“These hotels were very old and out dated and not clean at all. They never replaced anything that we used. (Like cups, plastic glass or soap and they had a place for Kleenex but never had anything in it). The mirror in the bathroom I think was cleaned with a dirty rage, because we could not see ourselves. The carpet in the hotel was very dirty and you could not walk on it without something on your feet. The rooms are not very sound proof either we could here people upstairs and next to us talk very clearly. ”

• It took care of a need for a place to stay, that¿s about it.
• It was old, not well up kept and seemed run down a bit.

“The hotel was okay for a place to stay for a night. However, I would rather pay a little bit more and stay somewhere else next time I need a room in Lawton, Oklahoma. I was just not impressed!”
